The next day came, Lance was in the park with his dad. They were doing some warm ups. After some stretching, his dad gave him a baseball bat.

"So, we're going to play some baseball today?" asked Lance sarcastically.

"Well, yes and no."

"What does that mean?"

"I'm gonna do the same thing, but this time it will be a bit faster. And, instead of dodging them, you hit them with that baseball bat," explained his dad.

"So, it's like a game of destructive baseball..."

"Yeah, sort of like that," said his dad as he prepared his stance. "Get ready now."

His dad shot a ball of green fire this time. Lance hitted it with the branch, but it exploded before it repelled.

"Dad!"

"Oops... Sorry for that. I accidently threw a sensitive explosion spell," he apologized. "I'll try summoning weak ones."

So, they tried it again, and it turned out fine. Lance was picking up his pace. He tried hitting faster. His dad threw more and now it was faster. It was intense. Lance was fired up as he hitted each of those balls of explosion.

"Wow. It's just your second day, and you're getting better. Not just better, but like a pro," commended his dad.

Then, someone applauded. It was a guy that looked like he wanted to kill someone.

"Wow... I was amazed myself," said the guy standing in front of them while applauding.

"It's been a long time, Lenny," said his dad with a grin on his face. As if they knew each other.

"Lenny?" Lance was confused with what was happening.

"That's me. Leonnardo Soresity. Lenny for short," he introduced himself.

"Son, meet Lenny. He used to be my teammate when we used to go to your school," explained his dad. "And, Lenny, meet my son. Lance."

"Nice to meet you, Lance," he said as he got Lance's hand and shook it.

"Nice to meet you, too," he replied. Feeling awkward.

He released his hand and said, "So, what are you doing here, Andrew?"

"Oh, I'm training my son to be a magician," replied Lance's dad. "How about you? What brings you here?"

"I just came here to have a stroll. Then, I saw you guys here. So, I came here to watch," explained Lenny.

"I see... How about I challenge you to a showdown," said Lance's father. Feeling all fired up.

"It's been a long time since you challenged me to a fight," said Lenny as he walked to a side where he's comfortable. He did a stance and said, "Watch and learn, Lance. You might learn something from this fight."

"Yeah. Just watch for now," said his dad.

They both got ready as they stared at each other. Then, the wind was blowing hard. It was quiet all of a sudden. Then, they both said, "Awaken!"

Both of them started to transform. Lenny had a black bandana covering his mouth. He wore a black ninja outfit that had green linings. He had a giant scroll behind his back. He also had a black belt wrapped around his waist. The length of his pants were just bellow his knees. He also wore black long socks covering his legs, and he also had sandals.

On the other hand, Lance's dad had a red headband tied around his forehead. He wore a maroon coat that had a drawing of a flame at his back. His shirt was an ordinary black shirt with a white sash around his body. On the sash, there were bombs. His pants was a pair of red slacks. He was wearing his ordinary shoes. There was a gold chain around his right wrist. While on his left hand, there was a ruby implanted on his palm.
