- Tamiko's POV -
Alarm Rings
"Ughhh..." I put my pillow over my head.
My mom started yelling from her bedroom. "Tamiko! Get up! Your alarm is waking up the whole family!"
"Fine!" I turned off the alarm and went back to bed. Hehe. She never expected this, did she.
"And that doesn't mean turn off the alarm and go back to bed!" My eyes widened. How did she know?!?! "Because I know everything!" What the!!
I did my daily routine and put the cookies in my bag.
"I'm going now!"
At the Train Station
I took out my phone and looked at my playlist. What should I listen to next?
"Itaru! What a coincidence." The girl giggled. "We always meet. It must be destiny."
"Nope... You always stand here waiting for me, Akari." So her name is Akari, huh?
"But we always meet! So it must be destiny." She smiled. "If people see us, they might think I'm your girlfriend." She looked to the side and blushed.
"More like his stalker." Itaru started to laugh his guts out.
Then she started sassing me. "Who are you?"
- Itaru's POV -
Hey, that's the girl I hit my knee with.
"Tamiko Minami, and...." Tamiko opened her bag and handed me a bag of cookies.
"What's this for?" I asked while wiping the tears from my eyes. Wait, is this a confession? Oh no, I hate those.
"This is a 'Thank You' present." She smiled.
"Huh?"
We took a pause.
"Do you know what I did?!?! I knee'd you in the face, and you're thanking me?"
"But you carried me to the Nurse's Office." I sweat-dropped. But if I hadn't knee'd you, I won't have taken you to the Nurse's Office. I awkwardly giggled. This is one strange girl. "So are you gonna take it?" She asked me.
I smiled. "Sure." I took the cookies and put it in my bag.
"Hello! Don't just ignore me!!"
"Oh sorry, Akari."
Train Comes
"Come on, Itaru. Let's go over there." Akari pointed to the right.
"Why don't we go to school together?" I asked. "I mean, we all go to the same school. So why not?"
"Ugh... fine." Akari looked disgusted for some reason.
At School
"My room is here. Bye, Itaru! See you later." Akari waved goodbye and entered her classroom.
"So..." Tamiko looked my way. "What class are you in?"
"Class 1-B."
"Really!" My mouth widened. "Then that means our classrooms are right next to each other!"
"Yep." She just looked forward. "So who was she?"
"So you're worried about me now, huh?" I smirked. Another girl liking me, figures.
"Nope. Just confused. Why do you even hang out with her? Isn't she like a stalker?"
"I don't really think about it much. But she's my childhood friend and we've been through a lot." I looked ahead with a smile.
