Chapter 21

- Tamiko's POV -

In the Morning

I walked downstairs and saw Chikashi eating cereal. I really didn't know what to say, after what happened last night, I really wanted to thank him.

"Pass me my cup?" I took the cup off the counter and gave it to him.

"Um... thanks for yesterday."

"Just don't tell mom about this or else I'll get in trouble." He continued to eat his cereal.

I smiled. "You know, you're actually a really good brother."

"You just realized that?" He smirked.

At the Train Station

I sighed. "For some reason, I got here earlier than Itaru."

"Itaru!" I looked to the side and saw him coming up the stairs.

I blushed, while all the girls at the station huddled around him. I stood there waiting for him to walk over to me.

"Hey." He smiled at me.

"Hey." I tried to avoid eye contact.

Train Comes

The girls pushed Itaru on the train, and when I tried to get on it was already full...

"Sorry, Tamiko, take the next one." One of the girls smirked.

The doors closed and Itaru looked at me with his sad eyes. While the train was moving, I tried to have eye contact with Itaru.

The train station was deserted...

I sighed. "I'm gonna be late again."

At School

I took out my phone to check the time.

8:25 AM

"I'm not late?"

"You wanted to be late?" Reo popped up in front of me and giggled.

"I missed the train, that's why." I smiled.

Hoshiko laughed behind me. "The train? Who still takes the train?" Behind her was her limousine.

"Not everyone is as rich as you, Hoshiko." -_-

She arrogantly giggled. "Obviously, look how better dressed I look."

"We're wearing the same uniform..."

She sweat-dropped. "Well, I make it work."

We all walked inside. "Where have you been!" Jin yelled at me.

"What did I do now...?" I seemed unamused.

He giggled. "Oh please, I wasn't talking to you." Jin patted me on the shoulder and walked past me.

"I'm not even late." Hoshiko started to talk.

"Yeah, but soccer practice already started." He grabbed her hand. "Let's go."

Cross-popping veins showed up on my forehead. "I HATE YOU, JIN!!!"

In Class

Dreaming...

I saw Itaru standing in front of me and I ran over to him.

"Hey, Itaru!" But the next thing you know he vanished. "Where'd you go? Itaru?"

I looked around but he was nowhere to be found. After looking around the second time, I saw Itaru with a bunch of girls. "Sorry, Tamiko, but I'm leaving you for my harem." He evilly laughed.
