"Pidge? It's Allura," the Altean princess' voice rang through the door.

Pidge freaked out and tried to quickly tidy up the place. Chip bags, empty soda cans, and other really easy to access foods and drinks were scattered everywhere. She was such a shut-in. As she shoved the last bit of trash into a bag, another voice came through the door.

"Maybe Garrison was wrong. Maybe this wasn't Pidge's new adress," it was a male's, not Coran's but familiar. That's when it struck her— it was Keith's. She heard some agreeing whispers. She couldn't let them leave, not after all this time. She can finally see them again, the flutter in her chest proof of her happiness.

"No, Garrison was right," she said, using her voice for the first time after weeks of not speaking. Her voice sounded a bit foreign. "This is my address now." Silence followed her sentence and a noise wasn't made, until a beep from behind her made her jump and scream, dropping the garbage bag. Then Lance busted in to see what had happened, breaking the door in the process. So much for locked doors.

Lance froze.

He stared at her and slowly stepped aside for the others to come in and see for themselves. At first she didn't know why they looked at her so strangely, then it hit her. For the past year Pidge let her hair grow. It now hovered right below her shoulders. They took a moment to take in the small teen's appearance before they ran to hug her.

"We tried to look for you but Garrison couldn't find your file and no one was told where you and your mother had moved to!" the princess said. So they hadn't left her or forgotten about her! She could feel a part of her heal up a little at this discovery. "Speaking of her, where is she?" Allura inquired. Sadness hit Pidge hard. The hardest thing to do is to tell someone that someone died. Lucky enough, Allura figured it out and hugged Pidge once more. "Sorry Pidge," she said. Pidge patted Allura's back and smiled.

"It's okay, Allura," Pidge said in a small voice. She waited until the princess stepped back to ask the question she had asked herself earlier. "Why are you guys here? Not that I don't enjoy seeing you guys again after a year."

Hunk stepped up and said, " We wanted to have a celebration party for defeating Zarkon, but we couldn't find you. After a while, we began to miss you and began this wild goose chase to find you. I'm just glad your not dead, or hurt, or— what was that other thing you said could've happened to her, Coran?"

Coran stroked his mustache and smiled. "Well dear Paladin, I offered many possibilities, but are you meaning the one where I said she could not even be on Earth? Maybe off in search of Matt, her father, and Shiro," Coran cooed. Blah blah blah, funny words, mustache was all Pidge processed.

"Ah yes, that one. Thanks, Coran. Pidge, you look hungry, why don't we enter the ship and have breakfast? Altean style," Hunk said, being himself. Pidge nodded. She could really use one of Hunk's meals right now. She last ate yesterday morning, or was it the day before...

"Just let me grab something," Pidge saying, turning to her desk. She grabbed her journal, throwing a look at Hunk, then grabbed her bag. She dropped the journal inside and reached for her laptop that sat next to her monitor she was using to scan all the planets. She slipped the laptop into her bag and focused on her monitor, intending to shut it off. What she saw on the screen made her squeal.

She had found Matt, Shiro, and her father, all on the same planet. A planet on the exact opposite side of the universe as earth. No wonder it took her so long. the planet had no surrounding planets and was one of the destroyed planets from Zarkon's reign

"Hunk can you make breakfast on the way to somewhere?" Pidge asked, giddy about her discovery.

"Why?" the group asked the girl, each questioning her reasons. She turned to them with a big smile and hope, true hope, in her eyes after so long.

"Because my computer just located the people I've been searching for, all three of them."

I'm sorry if you find any misspelling, grammar issues, or somewhere I got crazy. I tend to go all over the place with my books. I hope you find joy in this book. Also is it going a little to quick? I might slow it down a little in future chapters...
