The blue whip pulled Lotor away and Pidge turned around, grabbing Dimitri. "Can you walk?" the short teen asked Shiro. He nodded and used his one arm to get up. Katie looked where Allura was to see that the space princess was single-handedly fighting Lotor and somehow winning. Pidge could help after she gets her bayard and gets Dimitri to safety. Allura seemed to know the green paladin's thoughts, so Lotor was moved away from the door with a pull of the whip, sailing him halfway across the room.
Pidge took this opportunity and dashed for it. On the outside of the door, was Shiro's adjusted armor and bayard. Perfect.

Keith, Lance, and Hunk fought off the drones that attacked them every moment they could. "Kieth! Get your mind out of your mullet and into the battle, you're lagging behind!" Lance called, blasting an enemy drone. "You can help us a little bit more you know!" Keith looked at Lance through the face call with a look of annoyance.
"I am trying my best. Why don't get off your god dang butt and help me and Hunk out?" Keith retorted taking out five drones in three seconds. Lance flashed him a look of hurt and betrayal.
"Hey married couple, can you please stop having a lover's quarrel and please fight the flying bots with guns!?" Hunk hollered as he dodged a incoming drone, almost crashing into it. Though, his lion could have taken it.
Keith and Lance looked at Hunk with offense as they made their way to him. Hunk knew he should had never interrupted a lover's quarrel. "Hunk you have two seconds to take that back!" Lance started as he rammed his lion into Hunk's. "two seconds are over!" Lance began to attack Hunk until Keith called him out.
"Lance, stop fighting with Hunk. Its technically the truth anyway. Plus we're still surrounded by enemies. This is not the time," the new leader told them as he flew off, taking out the next drone. "Where is Allura!? She was supposed to be out here after giving Shiro his stuff."
Lance realized something.
"Hey does it seem like these drones are not trying to hit us? The ship hasn't even ion cannoned us yet! Do you think?" Realization hit all of them. The drones weren't attacking, the ship wasn't attacking, and in general, Lotor wasn't ever planning on defeating them- he was doing something that involved the inside. "Oh no! We were fooled!"
They needed to get back- Pidge was asleep, Shiro had only one arm, and Allura couldn't face Lotor alone. These drones' purpose was to distract, and they were doing an excellent job of it. Whenever one of them tried to return to the castle, the bots would shoot at them, making them unable to retreat.
"Hunk! You stay back while Lance and I go back and help Allura and Shiro," Keith commanded as he started to turn backwards, leaving Hunk to defend. Lance followed, wishing Hunk good luck. The two entered the castle and landed in their lion's hanger.
"Hurry Keith, we have to get there before we end up missing another teammate! God, your slow!" Lance called as they rushed into the halls, tripping every now and then. They saw two figures approaching them, Galra guards scanning the halls. Lance instantly shot one out while Keith knocked the other out. "We really need to get you a bayard or see if Shiro will give you the one he has always had."
They quickly looked down the next hallway and saw more figures. These two weren't Galra, one was though. They were Shiro, Pidge, and Dimitri. "Shiro!" Keith called rushing down the hallway towards the three.
"Me and Dimitri don't exists. Yeah," Pidge muttered as she watched Keith examine Shiro's bruises like a worried mother. Lance looked at Dimitri and Pidge.
"You know, from far away you look like a family...," Lance teased. Shiro showed a light blush while Pidge gave Lance a 'not-the-time' look.
When Keith finished examining Shiro, he sighed and looked down the hall. "Allura is fighting Lotor by herself, isn't she?"
Lance got that feeling again. The overprotective feeling for Allura, as if she was his own little sister. The thought of her getting hurt when he was being tricked, hurt his pride. He touched Keith's shoulders. "Let's go help her. She's like a sister, if she's hurt, I'll need your help."
There seemed to be something more behind Lance's words when he told Keith he'd need him. It looked like the new black paladin understood as he waved bye to Pidge and Shiro. Dimitri waved them goodbye as their journey to retrieve Katie's bayard continued.
The chamber seemed a little empty because of the missing armor and bayards that the other paladins took. Only the green bayard was there, left alone by the others to join the battle. Pidge handed Dimitri to Shiro and felt somewhat able to understand the cold feeling she got from the empty room as she went to grab her weapon.
"What am I going to do?" Dimitri asked them. Shiro crouched, hand still intertwined with Dimitri's. A smile plastered his face as he became level with the young Galra.
"You will be with Matt and Mr. Holt. Protect them while they sleep!" the one-armed man cooed, convincing Dimitri he had a big part in this plan. Dimitri had asked Shiro a few times to train him to be all ninja-like just like Shiro, but was turned down in fear of seeing Peggle again and the reaction of Katie.
She could be very scary sometimes... Peggle too.
"Let's go to Uncle Matt and Grandpa Samuel, okay?" Pidge said walking towards the boys, bayard in hand. They took Dimitri to the rooms that held the green paladin's family and left the boy there.
With a wave and goodbye, they headed off to help Allura, Keith, and Lance. What they saw when they arrived was surprising. Allura was no where in sight, Kieth and Lance were sitting on Lotor, and Garla guards were scattered all over the place. "Oh hey, your late," Lance said as he looked up from playing with his suit. Keith rolled his head on Lance's shoulder so he could be able to see Shiro and Pidge.
"That dork went down that easy?" Pidge questioned as she approached the man who held them captive for a month. She poked his purple face with her bayard. Lotor looked up and chomped in her direction since his hands were under Lance and Keith's weight. "Whoa there!"
"You need to head out into space to help Hunk fight the Garla out there," Shiro said as he place his hand on Lotor's head. Keith nodded and got up from beside Lance. The new red paladin stood and followed his leader out of the room. When they did, Shiro allowed Lotor to get up while Pidge pinned the prince's arms to his back.
The two escorted Lotor out of the room and into the halls.
I have a lot to say, but the most important is: this book is coming to an end! Not in the next chapter, but I plan for it to end before there's 26 chapters. Don't hold me accounted for this. I say a lot of things, and most of them don't follow through, but this is what I plan.
2nd is that I'm thinking of creating two new Klance/Shidge books. I don't which one to start after I finish this one, but I want to start another.
3rd is MY BABY NIECE WAS BORN YESTERDAY. SHE'S SO CUUUUUTE.
