Lance flew around the base before landing in the center of the circular facility. He saw someone that resembled Pidge in a weird, twin-like way. He must be her older brother, Matt. His lion's mouth opened and he called out, "Get in before you get hurt and Shiro and Pidge give me lectures about doing my job properly!" Matt hesitated but entered and the lion closed its mouth.

Matt figured that this is the alien-girl-crazed idiot that Shiro mentioned flew the blue lion. He said some other things about Lance but Matt had fallen asleep. Matt worked his way up to the cockpit to find a man who did fit Shiro's description of Lance.

"Yo," Lance greeted before his lion took off at a crazy speed and Matt was slammed into the wall of the metal cockpit. "How were you a pilot!?" Matt questioned, upset, as he rubbed his head. How was Lance even allowed in Garrison?

"I'm a great pilot! I used to be called the Tailor because of how I-," Lance began but was quickly cut of by Keith.

"I got kicked out and he took my place in the class." Keith's face appeared on the left side of the view. Lance gave Keith a glare before turning his head the other way in ignorance.

"Keith, I could've totally beat you and took the spot myself!" Lance complained, not paying attention where his lion was going. It headed straight for where the black lion fought Galra guards. Matt jumped on Lance, turning the blue paladin's face to the view. Lance screamed as he pulled a u-turn upward to stop the collision, Matt's nails digging into Lance's shoulders the whole time. It had stopped that collision, but it didn't stop the collision with Keith.

The blue lion flew right into the bottom of Keith's red lion. The two lions fell to the ground. Keith's was the first to get back up. He looked towards Lance. "You two okay?" he asked. Lance and Matt gave him a look that said 'what-do-think'.

"Well, if slamming into a metal cat then crashing to the ground is fine, then we are," Matt sassed, letting go of Lance's shoulders and taking a spot in the corner. Lance breathed a sigh of relief that they weren't dead or harmed in any special way.

A thud hit the blue lion followed by repeated hits. The Galra started to shoot at them, now noticing that Voltron was attacking. Lance got his lion back on its feet and him and Keith charged in, attacking the guards. Prisoners ran away from the scene and watched from afar in fear.

"It feels great to fight again!" Lance cheered as his lion took out a guard focusing on Keith's lion.

Pidge and Shiro worked their way down winding hallways in search of Pidge's father. They hadn't passed anyone yet and were beginning to question if anyone was even down here at all. "I swear this where we saw the Galra take your father since he was not as 'young or as strong' as the other prisoners...," Shiro explained to the teen. Pidge didn't like the way Galra treated her father like he was waste.

"Well he may not be like you and Matt, but is smart and useful," Pidge said, looking down the next hall. It was nothing yet again but metal hallways and floors with purple light. They haven't seen anyone, Galra nor prisoners. "Matt said he was mining a special ore, but this doesn't look like a mining facility to me..."

"That's what the Galra told us. They kept telling us if we slacked, we would go to the mining facility. They kept insisting that there was no escape from there. Matt almost got sent there himself," Shiro explained. The two turned another corner to see the hallway split into two.

"That makes no sense, its been five extremely long hallways since we entered and the alarms don't even reach down here!" Pidge exclaimed before looking at the problem ahead, "Now it decides to split. Which way?" Shiro didn't answer, he just went down a hallway, dragging Pidge with him.

"Just trust me," he said as he dragged her down the hallway. He had a feeling that this was the right hallway, he just knew. It was like his sixth sense.

"Where are we going? Its just the same—hallway after hallway," Pidge asked, worried that they may not find her father down here. As they approached the end of the hallway, a door appeared. Two Galra guards stood waiting for any intruders to approach.

"Well here goes nothing."

I swear this is getting worse by the second. I was pretty confident in the beginning, but not so much now. Sorry if it's terrible, I honestly don't expect much to continue reading this.
