Breakfast felt a little awkward since four people sat at the table who weren't there yesterday. Shiro and Pidge sat at the far end with Ivairan and Dimitri, who felt equality awkward. Keith would send the four glances while Lance made small talk with him, Allura and Coran kept looking at Ivairan like they had a question that bugged them, and Hunk poked at his food, something he never did. Matt and Mr. Holt were running late because of oversleep, so Pidge had no one to talk to other then her escapee brethren. Even though a word wasn't said between the four.
"What happened here while we were away? You heard our story, but we didn't hear yours," Shiro said trying to break the ice. Lance and Keith stopped talking and turned to the four.
"We didn't tell you, did we?" Allura said, as she and Coran finished their food. Hunk stopped poking his food in thought and turned to his friends.
"A lot has happened here too," Hunk replied as he glanced and Keith and Lance. The two blinked back at him. What was he implying? "Who would like to recap?" the yellow paladin continued.
"Maybe Keith should, he is the new black paladin," Lance offered. Pidge spat out her water that she was silently sipping on and Shiro chocked on the food he just swallowed. Ivairan froze mid-bite, thinking of the dream Pidge told him and Shiro about.
"Don't tell me that Lance flies Red and Allura is the new paladin for Blue," the green paladin inquired, looking at them with an shocked expression she shared with Shiro and Ivarian. The five confused teammates looked at each other then back to the three worried members.
"Yeah, how did you know?" Lance said, looking curiously at them. Then he remembered the ability Pidge gained, "don't tell me Pidge saw the future of our reality or something! Do I get a girl?" The three ex-cellmates only froze before looking at each other.
"Get Matt and my father, now," Pidge demanded Dimitri, "please hurry." Shiro stood and grabbed Lance and Keith's shoulders, one at a time, while Ivairan shoved food down his throat to stop himself from speaking. Lance knew this Shiro gesture. Whatever Pidge saw, it was serious.
"I won't be piloting the lion anymore, so no more fights, okay?" Shiro said as Pidge rushed out of the hall. The others started to panic. What was with this sudden rush? Why did Pidge freak out? Why did they all look like they heard they were going to die?
"Shiro, what's going on? What exactly did Pidge see in her prophecy dream?" Keith asked, standing up. He had worry written all over his face and Shiro only looked down in inner conflict. "What is going to happen to us, Shiro?" the new black paladin begged, more worried then before.
"I got them," Dimitri said as he looked for Pidge, "where did Beauty go?" Shiro went to him and squatted down, placing a hand on the kid's shoulder. He gave the child a serious look and told Dimitri, "Go eat with Keith and them. Beauty and I will return, okay?" He then left with the Holts. Keith tried to go after, but Lance held him back, telling him to let it be.
"Whatever is going on, we can ask him," Lance said turning to the Altean teen, who continued to look only at his food as he gobbled it down. Keith nodded and sat where Shiro was, right across from Ivairan. Lance followed and sat in Pidge's spot as he watched Ivairan slowly look up at them. The alien boy smiled causing food to fall out of his mouth. "Ew," Lance muttered.

Matt and Mr. Holt asked Shiro what was going on and where were they being taken, but the rushing man didn't reply. Soon they stepped into Pidge's lab, full of her projects and items. "Someone was in here! I knew it! I still say it was Lance!" she raged as she searched for something. She went from table to table, each piled high with mechanical parts and tools, in search of her scanner. She finally found it on her desk next to her opened bag.
Wait, her bag was opened, opened. She left it closed. She put the scanner down again and searched the bag, her journal wasn't inside. Had Lance gone through her journal? No, even Lance wouldn't do that, but she knew someone who would. After she finished here, she'll have to rage at him later. Then she realized Hunk wouldn't go through her projects. Maybe more then one person came in. She could always check the security cameras later. Pidge snatched up the scanner and turned to see a sweating Matt and a calm Mr. Holt.
"Jeez, Matt. Did you get a sweating problem while you were with the Galra?" she questioned as she walked up to them. He gave her a high-pitched but quiet, "no." With questions circling in her head, she tried to focus on her main priority, seeing if her dream was her reality. She held the scanner out and did a full body scan of her family. She waited anxiously for the results to pop up on her laptop. She nearly began to cry as they came up.
There was a living flexible rod-thing that circled around her brother's and her father's spine that had sprouted from a chip-shaped rectangle in their neck. The Galra had implanted some type of living organism that spreads to each part of the body to control the holder if the time ever came necessary.
"Shiro, the dream I had thanks to Ivairan might be the future to our reality...," she said looking at him, with tears spilling out of her eyes. If they didn't do something they were all going to die. Her family, her friends, and her love. She'd loose it all again and more. She had to deactivate the bug somehow and stop the future she saw from happening.
How she was going to that, she had no idea.
I have an ending in mind and I really don't know what kind of reactions it'll get. Prepare yourselves, dear Voltron lovers.
