Hunk went to close the space hatch while Lance and Keith checked on the imprisonment bay. When they arrived, they only found Shiro inside one of the tubes. Keith immediately set him free. When Shiro fell out, stumbling, he looked up and scanned the room as if looking for something. When he couldn't find it, realization had struck the poor man.

Pidge was gone. She was floating back to their birth planet. "Keith, Lance. We need to go back. Katie was ejected out into space and is heading back to Earth, Dimitri followed her. I don't know how!" the one-armed man replied, pulling himself off the floor. He couldn't be without her again. He didn't want a second to go by without her in the same area as him. Worry erupted from inside him as he followed Keith and Lance to the control room. Please wait on him, Pidge, Dimitri.

------

Pidge opened her eyes to see a blue sky. Earth? She looked around her. She was somewhere she'd never seen before. An unrecognizable bed, walls, and furniture. A arm was wrapped around her chest and another pair around her waist. The warmth before her lap was a Galra child who resembled Dimitri, but older, taller, and bigger in general. His arms actually reached behind her to meet the presence at her back. The sky she saw was from a window right in front of her.

The person behind her pulled her closer and Dimitri followed her. Breath hit her hair, which was long enough to wrap around her waist and touch the Galra's chest. He was hugging her stomach, burying the side of his head in it.

"Katie?" the person from behind said, sounding familiar. Was this another future? Shiro, her, and Dimitri living on Earth? Oh how desperately she wanted that. To have such a happy ending.

But that's only a simple wish that would never be granted. They would forever fight the Galra empire for freedom. They'd forever be stuck in an never-ending war with their tyrants. She closed and reopened her eyes, knowing she'd wake up to reality.

She saw the universe's sky again, but the warmth hugging her had vanished. Instead, cold air filled their place, her body floating inside where she was. Dimitri, her Dimitri, flooded her vision as he opened the door and she rapidly lost her breath. He quickly got in and closed it again. He took a large breath and floated next to her. Thanks to him opening the tube and taking a large breath they were now low on air.

They quickly descended to a planet that looked like Earth. It didn't look like it, it was Earth. "Dimitri, we are going to where me and Beast were born!" she cheered as she smushed her head against the glass. Dimitri looked at her in excitement.

"Really!? Your's and dad's home planet!?" the child cheered and squeezed his way to be underneath her as they looked at the gorgeous planet ahead.

"What?" Pidge squeaked, "Did you just call Shiro dad?" Dimitri smiled and nodded.

"Yes, mom, I did." Pidge cheered and hugged Dimitri before float-sitting down with him in her lap. She leaned her head against the glass. Earth, huh? What was waiting for her? Not her mother, not her father and brother, defiantly not her friends. Then what was her excitement for? Maybe she just wanted to show Dimitri the beautiful landscapes and scenery that you can only see on Earth.

She did wish she had everyone with her. She suddenly began to remember her previous time at Earth. A life without Shiro, without her friends, without her family. Dread, loneliness, and tears covered her face. When her tears plopped onto Dimitri's head, he raised his golden eyes to her face.

"Mom? What's wrong with your eyes? They're leaking again... Last time the people said you were crying and were sad. Why are you sad?" he asked, touching her eyes. She looked down at him before doing the same. Her hands touch wet cheeks. She hadn't known she was crying.

"I promised myself that'd I'd return with everyone...," she whispered removing her hand from her face and placing it on his head. She stared out at the planet that she'd cried so many times on as Dimitri leaned into her warmth. The pod passed sound barrier and caught fire.

"A ship just left the docking bay!" Allura shouted as the paladins rushed in.

"We have to stop Lotor," Keith said, turning around with the intention of leaving again. Shiro grabbed his shoudler.

"Katie is still heading towards Earth in a pod, Dimitri following," he told, giving an expression of slight anger and seriousness. Keith understood Shiro didn't want to loose the two, but Keith knew they couldn't loose Lotor either. His mind began to swim with thoughts, decisions, and choices.

"Hunk, take Shiro and retrieve Pidge and Dimitri. Allura, Lance, you're with me," he said quickly. Shiro relaxed a little bit and followed Hunk out of the room. The paladins split up and entered their lions. Hunk took Shiro to the direction Pidge was in while Kieth and the others went after the escaping Lotor.

Hunk didn't like the thought of flying Shiro and Pidge back to the ship since they'd most likely be all over each other, forgetting about the soon-to-be-scarred Hunk and Dimitri. It bugged him that Keith didn't pick Allura for this job. Why did Keith have to pick him?

"I don't see the pod... Hunk, how long has it been since me and Katie were handed Lotor?" Shiro asked, the worse coming to mind. That was another thing Hunk didn't like. Shiro referred to Pidge as 'Katie'. Hunk was still confused on why he calls her that. From the jumbled mess he got from Shiro and the Holts when they explained same time, Katie was her name before. Shiro met Pidge after he and Lance had. It'd be weird on both sides if Hunk, Lance, or anyone else began to call her that, so why does Shiro get the special treatment?

Lance and Allura already had tried to call Pidge by her real name, but Pidge insisted that it didn't feel right and was weird. No one had called her 'Katie', but all of a sudden Shiro and her return and he's allowed to. Of course, they are together, but if her best friends can't, then why should he?

"Fifteen minutes ago... Allura got the alert ten minutes ago... The pod shouldn't be in Earth yet unless it has like super-speed installed," Hunk grumbled as he flew faster. Shiro shouted as he tried to not fall. Hunk wasn't really one for jealousy, but he never had been as deep in love with anyone as he was with Pidge.

"Hunk, I know we both want to find Pidge as fast as possible, but slow down! At the speed, we might hit the pod!" Shiro screeched, hugging the wall as he desperately tried not to be flung from wall to wall.

Hunk got a grip on himself, and stopped his foolishness. Pidge would be angry if he hurt her boyfriend, even if it was on accident.

I see a lot of Hidge fanart when I'm scrolling. I don't ship it, but a lot of people do for some weird reason. I then thought 'oh-ho I like this idea that just popped in my head!' So meet Jealous!Hunk XD
