Pidge watched Shiro, the man she still loves, walk tiredly to a building full of barrels and other containments. She watched as he and the other prisoners put their luggage down and began to walk back to the building they came from, the middle one in the center of this facility.

"I have my eyes on Matt and Shiro!" Pidge wispered, trying to calm herself down and fight the urge to go hug Shiro and Matt. "They seem to be prisoners that move things from the middle building to the one at the end. I don't think that the other paladins should come rushing in-" Pidge couldn't finish before the black lion came shooting down from the sky.

"Sorry. It went crazy, I had to let it out!" Allura said, sounding guilty and panicky. Pidge only went with it.

Everyone had their eyes on the head lion. Galra guards rushed over to the commotion to cease the panic and put the prisoners back to work. Something was definitely going on here and it involved the enemy they thought they destroyed.

Without haste, Pidge ran for where Shiro and Matt were, staring in disbelief at the lion flying over the last building. No one noticed her pass. When she arrived in front of Shiro, she used her bayard to cut him loose. That's when she noticed it, his bionic arm was missing. He looked down and saw her staring at his missing Galra tech. It took him a moment to realize what was happening and that Pidge stood in front of him.

"Katie!?" he whispered-yelled. Pidge shushed him as she fought the urge to hug him and forgot about his missing arm. By this time, everyone within Shiro's chain had noticed her. She put a finger over her mouth to tell them to be quiet.

"We'll save you," she said as she cut Matt free. Unlike Shiro, she couldn't fight the urge to hug Matt. She hugged her brother and started to cry. "Do you know how long I searched? How long mother and I suffered? Where's father?" she said. Matt, at first, couldn't tell who she was but by the way she was speaking it could only be one person. Katie. Shiro had told him how she became the green paladin and searched desperately for their father and him. He hugged back and gave her sad look.

"I'm afraid we most likely can't free father no matter how hard you try. He is in the mines mining that special ore. There is no getting him out. Plus I hear he's reaching his limit...," Matt sadly explained unable to look his sister in the eye, "How's mum"

"Oh... I guess you can say she's better then dad and is watching us from the spirit realm...?" Pidge answered. Matt's face froze for a moment before letting a tear slip.

"Pidge what's happening?" Lance voice buzzed from her helmet. She broke away from her brother and answered.

"I think we should save these prisoners and bring an end to whatever is happening here," Pidge offered to the group.

"Heck yeah!" Lance cooed back, clearly ready for some kicking-butt action. He started to shout in excitement. They haven't done this in awhile.

"I'm in," Keith agreed, then went on to silence Lance.

"Sure. I'm down for a good fight against the Galra. Well, except Keith. Wouldn't be down to fight Keith," Hunk said, earning a snort from Lance and a grunt from Keith. "Princess?" Pidge asked.

"Only after the people we came here for are secured and safe," Allura responded. Pidge smiled.

"I have Matt and Shiro, but my father is 'unreachable' and is in critical condition. I don't want to leave him, so I'm going to get him," Pidge said to everyone. Keith and the others started to ask to talk to Shiro, but Pidge ignored them. Shiro and Matt started to argue with her about going after Mr. Holt, but Pidge gave that determined look she always gave when she wasn't going to be talked down.

With a sigh, Shiro demanded, "I'm going with you. Have Lance pick up Matt. Matt, no lip. This is the safest route. Pidge you too." Matt looked like he wanted to say something, but kept it to himself.

"I wasn't going to complain. I was actually hoping you'd say that," Pidge said and pulled out Shiro's Bayard. She handed it to his good, and only, hand. She gave Matt one more hug before she let Shiro lead her to where her father was.

"Lance, pick up Matt. He's at the middle building, then start breaking this place's rules," Shiro said through Pidge's helmet.

Shiro and Pidge entered a building on the opposite side of where the lions were distracting the Galra guards. The hallways inside were like ramps leading downwards to where a set of iron doors that sat with a scanner next to it. Without Shiro's arm, there was no easy way in.

Shiro and Pidge looked at each other then quickly decided to destroy the doors with their bayards. Maybe there was an easy way.

Sirens blasted, alarming the whole facility that they were there and in the mines. A bad easy way, though.
