Lexi's POV

I sat in my room, thinking about what happened this morning, what the guys told me. There's no way I can fall in love with any of these guys, is there?

Hayes' POV

Lexi probably hates me now, after I talked to Kian like that this morning. Maybe she just hates him, not me. I mean, he did just barge right in the room. I think I should go talk to Lexi.

"Hayes?" Nash said.

"Hm?" I asked.

"You're spacing off again." He said. I sighed.

"Sorry. I'll, uh, be right back." I said, getting up off the couch. I started to walk upstairs.

Lexi's POV

I guess I'm gonna be stuck here forever then, since it's not probable that I'd fall in love with these guys. Maybe they'd fall in love with ME, but I wouldn't fall for them. So either I get executed along with Kian after the month is over, in 30 days, or I get executed but Kian doesn't. Who even made these rules that Cameron told me yesterday?? For all I know, it-

I was snapped out of my thoughts by a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" I asked after a second.

"It's Hayes..." I heard from the other side of the thick wooden board. I inhaled sharply.

"Come in." I said. The door slowly opened, revealing an upset-looking Hayes. I looked at him.

"Can I sit?" He asked. I nodded, scooting over to make more room.

"I'm sorry about this morning." He said.

"It's fine." I said quietly.

"I really am. I know how some of the guys treat you, Ethan especially. It's not fair-" He said.

"It's fine Hayes, you can't do anything about it." I muttered.

"I want to though." He said.

"It's not like it's gonna get any better." I commented. He grabbed my arm.

"Stop saying all this! Don't you wanna get out of here? Or else you're just gonna be killed!" Hayes pleaded. He looked into my eyes, before glancing down at my lips. He leaned closer to me, but I didn't hesitate. I leaned in, closing the gap between us.

Did I really just kiss him???

We pulled away.

"Did that actually happen?" I asked.

"Yeah." Hayes said.

"We just kissed..." I sighed.

"Is that a problem?" He asked, smirking. I looked at him.

"Yeah, well, no. It is and it isn't." I said.

Hayes laughed.

"Hayes you have to go." I stood up, pulling him up by his hand.

"Why?" He asked, as I pushed him out the door.

"Because. What happened back there should not have happened, but it wasn't bad, but we will not speak of it again. Got it?" I said.

"Got it." He winked, walking down the creaky stairs. I closed the door.

So that just happened. I'm not complaining though.

I just need to address one more issue: Kian. I have to talk to him, about why he came to my room this morning and just talk to him in general. He's kinda stayed quiet since I've been here. (I mean aside from being an ass when we left the facility.)
