Lexi's POV          The Next Day...

I was in my room on my phone, which was about to die, when I heard a knock on the door. I got off my bed and tiptoed to the door, silently opening it.

"Lexi, what are you doing?" Sammy whispered from her bed. I turned around and put one finger to my lips. I peeked my head out of the door to see Kian walking to answer the door. I took a step out to peek over the railing to see who it was.

"Hey guys." Kian said when he opened the door. He stepped back. Tayler and Devin walked in. Devin and Tayler were facing the direction of our door and I was worried on of them would see me, I mean as long as Kian didn't see me I'd be fine. I didn't notice when Devin looked at me. He didn't say anything, he just looked at me and a smile formed on his face. I smiled back. Kian asked Devin something, who was now paying attention to Kian. I went back in our room and closed the door.

"Who is it?" Sam asked.

"The two new guys. One of them is hot as hell." I said smiling. "I think you'd like the other one..." I said quietly.

"Really?" She perked up. I nodded. She smiled.

"His name's Tayler Holder." I said.

"And the other one is?" She asked.

"Devin Hayes." I said.

"Tayler is the one you said I would like?" She confirmed.

"Yep." I answered. Someone suddenly knocked on the door. I looked at Sam and she shrugged. I put my phone in the back pocket of my jeans and walked over to the door. I opened it to reveal Kian.

"Hey." I said.

"Hi. We're all going out for awhile, so you'll have the house to yourselves for a few hours. You'll have to make dinner for yourselves but we should be back by before sunset." He said.

"Where are you going?" I asked him.

"To the city." He said.

"Okay." I said. He walked downstairs and I closed the door. I pressed my ear to the door and waited until I heard all the talking disappear out the door. I opened the door and stepped out to the top of the stairs.

"What are you doing??" Sam asked getting up from her bed.

"Come on." I said. I walked down the hall to Kian's room, opening the door and overwhelmed by the smell of cologne. I walked over to one side of his bed and unplugged the charger. I handed it to Sam.

"Why did you take his charger?" She asked.

"Charge our phones. We can't take two chargers though, they'll know it was us. We walked down the stairs.

"We need to try to get out." Sam sighed. She really wants to get out but I know the consequences if we don't. I don't think the guys told her what they told me yesterday...

"They have codes on all the doors and windows. There's no way. If we try to break a window there's alarms and they'll know we tried. There's no use trying to get out." I stated.

"Why don't we look for a code that might work? It's only four numbers." She examined the keypad lock on the front door.

"Okay." I said. We decided to split up and look around the house. I went through the kitchen, opening cupboards and drawers, hoping to maybe find a little slip of paper with a four digit code. No luck. I wandered down a little hall I didn't even know existed. I found a little room with a desk and a computer on it. I sat down and turned on the computer.

Fudge, there's a password.

I was about to leave when I noticed the empty bookshelf in the corner. I saw something shiny behind it, and because I'm the curious one, I decided to try and move the bookshelf. It wasn't heavy; I slid it out of the way to reveal...

A metal door.

what???

I turned the knob, and not surprised it was locked. I pushed the bookshelf back into place and moved onto the next room. After I had searched that whole hallway (it had like 5 of the boy's rooms) I decided to check the basement. I went into the room that Kian took me to, and the room where Matt took me, and a few of the other rooms. As I was about to walk upstairs again I noticed a door that was cracked open a bit. I cautiously walked toward the dimly-lit room. I went in and I was shocked at what I saw. There was a screen that was divided in 12 small screens, all the views from 12 different cameras throughout the house. I looked at the table in the middle of the room, there was a map with pins sticking into different places. On the wall, a bulletin board with lists of names and information on that person. I gasped when I saw Sam and I's names. I took a picture of the board. What is this room? I touched the screen which had the cameras. I tried to figure out how it worked. Basically they recorded in color, HD, but didn't record sound. I left, walking back upstairs. I wasn't going to tell anyone what I saw in there.

"Did you find anything?" Sam asked as she walked toward me.

"No." I lied.

"Me neither." She sighed.

"I'll start dinner." I said, realizing we'd been looking for the past hour and a half.

"Okay. My phone is almost done charging, then you can use it." She said, sitting down. I walked to the fridge to see what I could make. I saw some fresh tomatoes and knew what I wanted to make. I took them out and opened the pantry to find some pasta.

~~~~~
"This spaghetti is amazing dude." Sam said, as we ate our food.
"Thanks. I made a LOT in case the guys are hungry." I said. We were sitting at the huge dining room table. In the kitchen, there were four more big pots of pasta. Honestly, this house is super nice. Like it's practically a mansion. It's weird though because from the outside, it looks abandoned.
I heard car doors shutting, which meant everyone was home. We continued eating. The door swung open. I'm so paranoid they'll find out I went in that room. The 'army' of boys filed in the door.
"We're home!" Someone yelled.
"I see that!" I yelled back, laughing.
"Something smells good in here." Cameron said.
"I made pasta for you guys." I pointed to the kitchen. They ran to the kitchen. I heard the sounds of glass bowls being grabbed and the lids of the pots hitting the granite of the counter. I smiled to myself. I noticed Devin going upstairs and down the hall. He walked back down the stairs. I looked at him and mouthed "what?" to him. He winked. I rolled my eyes, hiding the smile I had.
We took our bowls to the crowded kitchen, making our way to the dishwasher. Sam started talking to Shawn, but I squeezed my way through everyone to go up to my room. I opened the door and spotted a familiar, big yellow bag on the floor with "Forever 21" printed in black across it on the floor next to my bed. I sat on my bed and picked it up. I opened it to see a note on the top. I unfolded it and read:
"Because you'll be here for awhile but I don't want you suffering ;) ,  Dev" I smiled. I looked through the bag. There were a few tshirts, a pair of jeans, a couple pairs of shorts, a dress, a romper, a few little things, like a phone charger and earbuds. I heard someone walking up the stairs. I turned to see who it was, and Devin was there, standing in the doorway. He smiled. I immediately got up and walked over to him, giving him a hug. He hugged me back tighter.
"Thank you." I whispered.
