Sammy's POV
I was sitting in the room next to Shawn. I was just staring at the wall. I stood up and looked at everyone. I was about to walk away when Shawn yanked me back down. I slapped his arm off of mine. I walked to the kitchen and saw JC sitting on the counter while texting someone.
"Hey, JC" I said
"Hi" He said without looking up
"Can we talk?" I asked
"Sorry but I thought this was talking" He said groaning at me
"Stop ignoring me" I said
"I'm going out for a while" he said jumping off the counter and walking to the door
"Talk to me" I said going after him
"Okay. I got one thing for you. Don't play with someone while your heart is with someone else" He said slamming the door and I heard his car start. I knew he was talking about Shawn but who said my heart was with Shawn?
"God dammit!" I said yelling. I went out the porch in frustration. These days I wish I had a older sister who knew what to do and would never leave me. Or be mad at me. Cause I fuck up with everyone I lay eyes on.
"Next time you might break the door. I heard that from the room" Lexi said looking at the sky while Devin is right behind her.
"Sam, we have something to tell you" Devin said looking at the floor
"I can't tell her Devin" Lexi said looking him in the eyes and he grabbed her hand. I like to think who she would be with if Kian was still alive. Love triangle......that's difficult. I didn't think the only way to get out of it was someone dying.....Just then my phone off. The door opened and Carter looked at us.
"What? Why is everyone attacking me" I asked. I grabbed my phone and looked at the text. I dropped my phone.
"I'm going to be killed!" I screamed. Some of the guys came outside and looked at me.
"Sam" Lexi said
"I'm done for" I said and Cameron laughed. Lexi hit him.
"I have stuff to do" I said pushing past everyone there.
I went up to Shawn's room and sat down at the computer. I have to start somewhere. The door opened and Shawn came in. He shut the door then sat on his bed.
"How will I be able to find him?" I asked
"Sam" Shawn said
"Shawn, not right now" I said
"God dammit, Sam! You are so blind!" He said standing up
"What, Shawn?" I said
"You need to leave. Move in with Lexi and Devin and DON'T COME BACK" he said in my face
"Are you crazy, Shawn?" I said
"Can I be honest with you and then you leave" Shawn said grabbing my hand
"Shawn?" I asked
"JC is actually your assigned person, Sam" He said looking at the floor and I could feel my heart sinking.
"Sam, he's on your good side because of this. He hates Lexi but he hates you more" Shawn said looking at the floor.
"You need to leave, Sam" Shawn said
"Why!? I need to be with you" I said
"Listen, the guys are waiting for the last night to be over. You'll be dead before you go the meeting for the higher people to kill you" Shawn said
"JC wants you dead, Carter has been holding him back but seriously that night he's going to hurt you and you won't wake up" Shawn said
"Now....Sam. Get out of town and take Lexi with you" He said looking out of the window.
"And don't come back" he said
"This whole month you've been in a house full of people who wanted to kill you" He said.
"Who can I trust!? Can I even trust you?" I said standing up
"You should start to pack" He said
"Who can I trust, Mendes!" I said pushing him back on the bed
"New guys....they don't know shit. I would leave with them"
"Lucky your best friend is in love with one of them. Take Tayler, Lexi and, Devin." He said. I turned towards the door not wanting to know more.
"And Sam, always trust me cause I'm in love with you" he said turning me around and pushing our lips together.
"I might not be Dolan but I've been head over heels for you since the day we met" He said in between our kisses
"Now get the hell out of here tonight. Say goodbye to me before you leave" He said
It was 11:30 and the house was quiet. Tayler was bringing my bags out to the car quietly. I stood looking at Lexi and I's room. I went down the stairs to see Tayler standing there talking to Shawn. I went over to Shawn and he kissed my forehead.
"I'll see you soon, Sam" he said pecking my lips
"Tayler can I meet you in the car?" I asked
"Ya, totally" he said going out of the house
"Please come with me" I said
"No, I can't" Shawn said
"I need to go to my room" He said
"I love you" he said
"I love you too, Mendes" I said kissing him one last time. Then he went to the stairs and looked back at me and took a deep breathe then went up them. I held back the tear cause who knows when I'll see him. Tayler came in looking at me.
"We need to leave" He said
"Tayler, what if I killed JC right now" I said and Tayler looked at me like I was crazy
"Sam, how the hell are you going to do that" He said quietly. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a knife.
"Where is Devin and Lexi?" I asked
"In the car where else. They are waiting for your slow ass" he said. He grabbed the knife from me but I snatched it back.
"I want to kill that lying bastard" I said
"Sam" Tayler said looking behind me. I turned around to see Shawn standing there with a gun in his hand pointing it right at me.
