Sammy's POV
Three days later
I was in my room laying on my bed hearing talking in the hallway every once in while. For some reason I really wish I was with Grayson. I wasn't usually ever bored and maybe that was because he tried to use every second he could get with me. He would try and make sure Shawn wasn't able to hang so he could be with me.
I heard the door and just thought it was Shawn and I didn't really want to talk to him. I've been ignoring him for a while now.
"Leave, Mendes" I said and I just heard a laugh
"It's actually Jc" I heard some more laughing. I sat up and looked at Jc
"Sorry. Shawn has just been kinda bugging me" I said scratching the back of my neck
"I wanted to go out to the mall for a little bit and I don't really have anyone to go with so do you maybe want to go with me?" He asked
"I would love to" I said standing up and grabbing my shoes
"I'll meet you out at the car" He said and I nodded as he left the room. Sad to say when Kian left......Jc has just been lonely. Trying to hang with people he doesn't usually hang with. I'm not happy about Kian being gone but I'm glad that it brought Jc closer to me. I love hanging with him.
I ran down the stairs to see Devin and Lexi at the table talking with cups of tea in front of them. I could hear Shawn's loud voice yelling in the kitchen. I walked in to see him yelling at Ethan. Ethan had a pissed off face. Something was going on and I didn't know if I should get involved.
"Hey Sam" I heard Ethan say
"Hi" I said and Shawn turned around
"Hey" Shawn said looking me up and down
"I'm going out with Jc for a little bit so I'll-" I started to say till I felt an arm around my waist. I looked to my side to see Jc standing there
"We will be back in like 2 or 3 hours. So Shawn, you don't need to freak" He said laughing
"Let's go" I said walking to the door
We were sitting in the car for about 10 minutes and it was dead silent. Till Jc spoke up.
"I'm worried about you Sam" He said
"Why is that" I said looking at him confused while he intertwined our fingers
"You haven't even killed your subject, Sam" He said and I froze. With everything happening, I just forgot.
"Sam" He said squeezing my hand
"Where do I even start? I can't kill someone" I said scared
"I don't even have that much time left" I said
"Sam, sorry I shouldn't have brought this up" He said
"When we get home we can talk to Shawn about it. He will know what to do" Jc said rubbing his thumb of the top of my hand
"Okay" I said still scared
We were in the 3rd shop of today. It was a girly shop but Jc was just following along and he was happy about it.
"Try this on please" Jc said handing me a dress and I just laughed
"I can't rock that" I said laughing
"I think you can" he said throwing it at me
"fine, you win" I said laughing. I went into the dressing room and changed into it. I look at myself in the mirror and laughed
"Let me see" I heard Jc say and I laughed even more. I came out of the dressing room and he looked me up and down.
"I feel funny looking" I said
"You are perfect, Sam" He said
"Jc" I said
"Sam just shut up and listen to me. You are perfect and I hate when you aren't confident because Damn girl you are everything a guy wants" He said to me and I just stood there like a fool
"I'm buying you that" he said
"You can wear that on a date with Shawn or something" He said
"Or you" I said and he just looked at me
"what did you say?" He asked me
"You could take me on a date. Why does it have to be Shawn" I said and he looked shocked
"I saw the way your jaw dropped when I came out of the dressing room. You also held my hand in the car like you were scared you were going to lose me" I said and he just took a deep breathe in.
"I'm not with Shawn and he can't claim me" I said walking back into the dressing room.
We were in the car on the way home. Everything had been a little bit awkward since the dress thing. I didn't know if I pissed him off or something.
He started to pull up to a cliff with a beautiful sunset showing. He got out and came over to my side and helped me out. He grabbed my hand and guided me over to a bench. I smiled at how he was holding my hand.
"I wanted to show you this sunset" he said laughing
"It's very pretty" I said admiring it and I felt Jc looking at me and I looked at him and he just smirked
"What" I said
"I know I shouldn't rush and I'm not but you are beautiful" He said
"I just had to say that" He said kissing the top of my hand
"Thank you" I said laughing
Night time
I woke up from having a bad dream. I got up and went right over to Shawn's room. I opened the door to see that he was laying in bed asleep. I bit my lip and turned around not wanting to wake him up.
"Please don't leave, Sam." I heard Shawn groan
"I know I don't like to admit this but you are what I need and I miss you" he said and I went into the room. I closed the door and sat on the edge of the bed.
"Can I maybe stay the night. I keep having bad dream and I guess I need you right now" I said feeling scared.
"Yes" He said scooting over and letting me get in
"Thank you, Shawn"I said
"I've missed you" He said pulling me closer to his chest and I felt his lips kiss my back
"I've missed you too" I said holding in tears
"Sam, what's going on?" He asked me
"I haven't killed my person yet and I'm scared" I said
"What am I going to do?! I can't kill someone and how will I find him" I said sobbing
"Sam, I'll help you. It's fine. Please don't cry" he said
"My life is so over" I said
"Please don't cry, Sam" he said
That night Shawn held me tighter than he ever had and I truthfully think he was scared of losing me. I'm scared too........
