It's strange how easily
you let people disappear
once there is nothing left in them
you can take for yourself.
You called it friendship
while quietly carving pieces
from everyone who trusted you,
until all that remained
was exhaustion pretending to smile.
And for a long time,
I kept convincing myself
there had to be something gentle
hidden somewhere inside you.
But now I see the truth
in the way you leave people behind
without ever turning back
to look at what your absence ruined.
Tell me—
was it worth it?
Watching friendships collapse slowly
beneath the weight of your selfishness?
Because one day,
when everyone grows tired
of being emptied by you,
you will finally understand
what it feels like
to reach for someone
and find nothing there.
