Chapter 26~~The govorner's deal

Hershel, rick, myself, and Daryl all were heading up to the meeting place, only to find the governor in the building already.

"Whys you're man already in there?!" Daryl ask Andrea

"He's here? I should go-"

"he just wants to talk to rick" a man with glasses cut her off.

"Oh, he brought his butler" I said

"I'm not a butler"

"Then what are you?"

"I'm the person who writes everything down so history can be- you know what, I should have to explain myself to the henchmen"

He makes my blood boil my hand touched the knife but Daryl grabbed my arm. We heard snarling from a walker and Daryl, Martinez, Andrea, I went to check it out.

"Don't go near them" Daryl said to me.

"I can kill walkers" I said to him. Martinez and Daryl started bickering about who should take he first shot to I walk up, stab a walker, and walk back by them. "There. Now stop bickering and help kill these stupid walkers"

Martinez killed a few, Daryl killed a few, I killed a couple. Andrea ended up going in by rick and the governor. Hershel was getting asked questions and rick came out. We all left.

"His deal is we give him Michonne" rick told us

"No way" I said

"It's either that or war"

"We can't get rid of our friend because some guy is a jerk"

"Georgia, I can't let that put you or the baby in danger" Daryl said

"I'll die before we give our family to him" I said sternly to the two of them. Then faced away.

We got back to the prison and told Glenn what the governor wanted to stop this war. After that I walked to our cell and picked up the baby, and sat on the bed. Daryl walked in after a little bit.

"Can we talk?" He asked

"About what?"

"About what you said earlier"

"What I said is true. I will die, before we give a friend to that jerk" I say trying not to swear with the baby. "If you don't believe then try and take her. Everyone in this group is like family, if we give one to him, we are basically killing them"

"Georgia-"

"No daryl. I made my decision"

"Georgia, we aren't going to give her to him"

"And whys that?"

"Because what you said made rick think"

"you know. I saw your brother when I walked out. What if he takes her?"

"He won't" Daryl said, getting a little pissed at me saying that about is brother

"And if he does?" I looked at him

"I said he won't!" I rolled my eyes and set down the baby in his crib, but when I went to walk out of the cell, Daryl grabbed my arm and wouldn't let go

"let me go"

"He won't Georgia. I know he won't"

"Let me go Dixon"

"Not tell you say it"

"No because we don't know what he will do!"

"Georgia." He said, sternly
