Nine months

The group came to this town, Alexandria.

Diana did interviews with all of the group

"Daryl Dixon, am I correct?"

Daryl nodded

"What did you do before?"

"I hunted and did mechanical stuff when I wasn't busy helping my brother"

"Is your brother with you now?"

"No"

"Do you have any family out there?"

That question made a tear roll down Daryl's face "a few months ago I lost someone I truly cared for, and not long before that did I lose my son. I entered the final journal in her notepad"

"Would I be able to see the notepad?" Diana asked

He nodded and pulled it out of Georgia's bag, which he carried around, and handed it to Diana "I will need that back"

She nodded and Daryl left

She read through all the different entries, her favorites being:

All that is keeping me going is Daryl, if it weren't for him, I'd have shot myself by now. Daryl and I are expecting our first child, and i am so excited, but I don't know how to tell him. I hope we don't lose him/her.

And:

Do you know the pain of watching someone you love get raped then dying? Who knew someone could grow up in a life like Georgia did and still have will to live.

Diana could tell which things were wrote by Daryl, and which by Georgia. She could tell the pain based on what was wrote. She could see where tears fell as the notebook was read or wrote. She geared up herself reading it, before returning it to Daryl

"Your wife, Mr. Dixon, seemed like an amazing woman"

"She was"

And with that, Daryl stared at the notebook's entries. How happy she seems in every paragraph, yet how sad. He finnaly got to the final entry.

And with that, their story was over. Georgia was in a better place with Merle Sophia. Daryl lived on in her memory. Daryl raised Lil' Ass Kicker to be a lot like Georgia.

Their story came to a close, as the final entry was wrote into existence.

~~~~~~~
I HOPE YOU ENJOYED. I needed to add some closure to the story because I left a lot of things unsaid. I completely forgot about the entries for awhile, so I figured that Daryl putting in the Final Entry would be a perfect way to end this. And Diana learning about Georgia and how she lived, what she loved, about what the life of the group was before Alexandria, from a journalism stand point.
I hated to see this end, but I'm glad I finally put a close on this.
