"I hate this weather!" Kendrick exclaimed as the foursome quickly entered the dining hall.
Denise slipped off her beanie, Gina adjusted her jean jacket, Rodney unbuttoned the top of his trench coat, and Kendrick stuffed his hands in his sweatpants' pockets.
Friday morning, and three out of four of the group decided a breakfast date would be nice.
They walked behind each other, with Rodney leading the way, and soon stopped to stand in line. Rodney increased the volume on his phone to the point where his music was blasting loud and clear from his white earphones.
Denise leaned on Gina's shoulder.
"So why are we all here again?" Kendrick asked. "You can honestly eat breakfast by yourself or you could've told just Gina to come with you." He spoke directly to Denise.
The two rolled their eyes, and huffed at the same time. Kendrick has been complaining all morning and everybody is over it. Everybody as in Rodney—who chose to drown out Kendrick's voice with his music—Gina, and Denise.
"Because it's been awhile since we've had a breakfast date, all four of us." Denise mumbled.
"But why did we have to wake up so early, I don't have a class until 12 o'clock. " He explained an explanation nobody asked for. "It's Friday my G, who wakes up this early on a Friday."
"It's 9:30—"
"That's early!" He whispered yelled. "I don't understand—"
"Negro! You've been complaining all morning, if you don't want to be here go back to your dorm or shut the fuck up." Gina snapped.
Denise snickered as Kendrick wide eyed Gina.
"And who the fuck do you think you're talking to?" He smirked, slightly amused by her attitude.
"You— Kendrick!" He looped his arm around her neck and held her in a headlock.
"Don't snap at me again unless you tryna' get that ass whooped!"
"Get the fuck off of me you fucking douchebag!" Gina tried to push him off. "Okay, I can't—I need oxygen." She struggle to remove herself from his hold.
He disregarded her complaint and grabbed a plate, asking the lady to give him some scrambled eggs.
Denise tucked away her smile and tried to get Rodney's attention, to show him what Kendrick is doing. Denise glances at Kendrick and catches a glare.
Still holding Gina securely, he says to Denise. "And what are you looking at, donkey looking ass motherfucker?" He grinned.
Denise gasped and grabbed a fruit cup. She opened it—throwing the what-seemed-to-be peaches right in his face. "Fucking gorilla stinky butt ass looking—"
