The loud chattering, and conversation had nothing on the noise Rodney and Kendrick were causing. Sitting with the two would literally feel like third wheeling. So many inside jokes, Ricky was just stuck chuckling along with the them, while looking back and forth...

"You know what I hate, Kendrick—no listen, we would be having a regular ass conversation then this nigga gon' say. Uh... Yeah, so Como se dice..."

Kendrick immediately laughs, leaning back in his chair. Ricky snickered a little.

"Like, what nigga?" Rodney says in between his laughs. "This nigga is literally saying ... How do you say? In Spanish. Every time, like what?"

Kendrick laughed even harder, trying to formulate words to tell Rodney to shut up, but couldn't.

"Now that you mentioned it, he does say that a lot, but I just don't say anything." Ricky added on.

"It's because his mom was yelling at him the other day about how he's not really speaking Spanish—"

"Rodney, shut up!" Kendrick tossed his water bottle at him, but he dodged it.

"So he's just tossing random shit in everyday conversation like what?" Rodney covers up his laugh with his fist in front of his mouth.

"Bruh, fuck you bruh." Kendrick chuckled. "You didn't even understand what she was saying." He snapped, in a joking matter. 

They laughed and laughed, it's amazing how their bromance is so strong. One would argue that these two are the closest they've ever been. Regardless of the petty arguments and disagreements, it would be easy to say nothing could tarnish their bond...

"Bro. You didn't understand what she was saying." Rodney fires back. "Fake Hispanic!"

"Shut up." Kendrick leaned back in his chair. "I hate you, real live. I hate you man."

Sunny sky, and a light cold breeze. Gina pranced along the campus, she's just got through with track practice. Yara and Tati were alongside her.

Gina distanced herself from her usually social group, making her hang with he teammates more. Intentionally, dissociating herself from Kendrick while also unintentionally distancing herself from Denise.

Not that Denise is really noticing it, she's been... Well... Busy.

All day, Gina has been thinking about catching up with Denise, now that she's back from mentally checking out. She really feels like that last mental breakdown she had helped her have the strength to move forward, with everything. Grades, track, and life itself.

She quickly said goodbye to her teammates as she entered the dorm building. She had a class in about an hour, and she's basically free until the afternoon. She plans to hang out with Denise all day, because it's not fair for their friendship to fade just because she's been out of it.
