So you know how shows have hour long specials? Since this is a TV show being written, basically this is an "hour" long special bc 9000+ words girl. So 9000+ long special. Bro. I've been working on this chapter since the 18th of December. I deleted a lot, rewrote a lot. Moved around scenes. Gotten frustrated, almost gave up. Made some promises I couldn't keep but here we are. Very lengthy... Nervous. Enjoy, maybe? Oh & excuse the errors.

"Morgan State's very own students held a protest yesterday. What started off as a peaceful protest ended in a riot, leaving four people injured. Aaron... What happened?" The news anchor questioned.

The tv screen flipped to a man standing in front of Morgan State University. He held a microphone in his hand, and nodded. "Yes. Thanks Julie. The sophomore class of Morgan State had came up with an idea to have a peaceful protest against former senator Richard Roberts. They were standing in this very spot when..."

And we continue, right where we left off...

Suddenly three people began chanting with them, soon the whole crowd was chanting "Go home Richard!"

Richard Roberts stared at the crowd, but they would not back down.

"Go home Richard! Go home Richard! Go home Richard!" They chanted over and over, pounding their fists in the air as well as their signs....

It was actually a beautiful moment. Everyone standing in solidarity, peaceful. Kendrick's nerves were finally relaxed. He felt at ease. Roberts did not know what to do at this point, he looked around, speechless.

Yara, Briana, and Kendrick shared a look between each other. Just as Yara was about to say something... Tires screeching against the pavement grabbed the attention of everyone. 

Suddenly a black suv rolled in, four guys in all black attire jumped out. "Fuck Trump! Fuck 12!"  One hollered. The other pulled out a bat and in that minute another suv rolled in.

Confusion and fear instantly struck everybody. The crowd began to disperse in a hurry. Commotion and hostility all in the air. The sound of glass shattering, and people screaming was all that could be heard.

Richard's security tried to quickly usher him towards his limo.

The police attempted to handle the situation, they called for back up.

Madness everywhere, everything flipped. The energy was distorted. It all happened so fast...

But why?

Who are these people, Kendrick thought to himself. He looked around as everybody was running around, scattered, trying to escape. One of the guys dressed in all back punched a police officer in his jaw.

Without thinking Kendrick ran up to the guy.

"Stop! This is suppose to be peaceful!" Kendrick pulls the guy off of the officer. And in return the two shared a look.

"Fuck that nigga! No justice, no peace. Now get yo' Martin Luther King had dream having ass out my way dummy."

Gina and Denise snap their heads in the direction of a man breaking the window of a police cruiser, using his bat as he repeatedly continued to damage the property.
