Excuse the errors (If you stayed up lol, surprise!)
All good things must come to an end... Well maybe a new beginning.
Ultimately, one can indeed control their own emotions. Just redirect the focus elsewhere. Sure it's not as easy as it sounds, but after a good night's sleep, a fruit bowl, and a power jog, Gina is in the best of moods. No one would even know she was down in the dumps 24 hours ago.
It's a new day, new day equals a new page, new oppurnities, and seconds chances.
Early morning training got cancelled, so that's already a good way to start the day. Gina wore her red Addias tracksuit, and organized her books preparing for her class. Sure it's hours from now, but she's already up and can't go back to sleep.
She couldn't stop thinking about the conversation she shared with Denise.
Her excitement overwhelmed her, and her expectations were stacked up almost as high as a building. In and out, she breathed. She calmed her nerves, and decided it's time to put her big girl panties on.
I have to confess my feelings for him, I can do it. And I will..
What's the worse that can happen?
She thought of the worst case scenarios, like him rejected her, while also thinking about positive outcomes. Anything could happen...
She hated to be vulnerable, but maybe if she puts herself in that position Kendrick would open up too. If it's one thing for sure, he can reciprocate emotions fairly well.
Overthinking, deep in thought, and zoning in and out—Gina found herself walking towards the boys' dorm. Sure, It's early in the morning. Sure, Kendrick doesn't have a class today until noon—but she just couldn't wait.
She's anxious, excited, antsy... Everything!
Hopefully he isn't asleep.
Gina practiced her lines in her head, hoping that how he responds is sort of how she planned out—so far fetched, but a girl can dream, can't she?
She looked crazy, as she walked past people signing heavily and moving her arms around. She should've meditated before making this quick decision.
Just as she stepped foot in the building her heart began to pound like a hammer against cloth. She flipped her hair back and exhaled. She began to crack her knuckles as she slowed down her pace, walking down the hallway.
The closer she got, the more antsy she felt. She wanted to turn around and go about her day, but she's tired of running away...
"Stop being a punk." She repeated to herself. "You got this, you got this—"
Her heart dropped to the pit of her stomach as the door opened, she calmed down a little seeing that it was Rodney.
She smiled a warm smile, as he looks at her oddly.
"Good morning?" He says awkwardly. "Whatchu' doing here?" He uttered with his bookbag over his shoulder.
"Huh? Oh, uh..." Gina held her hands together. "I gotta talk to Kendrick about something..." She says, playing with her fingers. "And what about you? Where you going?"
