Dan was in the store with Phil, who had to buy something important apparently. He was wandering aimlessly around, looking at stuff he might like, knowing Phil would buy it for him. But he didn't really need anything, he just liked to look at all the clothes.

He sighed, a bit bored. Phil had been at the register for a long time. Surely there couldn't be a line that big? The place seemed mostly empty. Dan walked back up to the front of the store, seeing Phil laughing and chatting with a boy Dan had never seen before.

He had light brown hair, almost blonde, and a very American smile. He looked really skinny and cute, with little dimples. Dan narrowed his eyes from watching them behind a rack of clothes hunched over, trying to listen to what they were saying.

"Do you remember that one time Pj passed out on his way to the dorm, and he woke up tied to a tree?"

Phil laughed, "Yeah, and no one would get him down because it was too funny and old Professor Stein had to cut him down with that scary knife he always carried around."

The mysterious boy laughed along with Phil. "That was hysterical. Every time Pj fell asleep for that whole week we'd tie him to his bed and laugh as he screamed at us to let him go."

"Ah yeah! And remember when we put Joslin's snake on him and gave him a heart attack the minute he opened his eyes? He screamed bloody murder!"

The boy giggled, "Yeah, he wouldn't even talk to us for a week he was so pissed."

Dan felt himself get more suspicious of this boy everytime he laughed, those perfect teeth, silky hair, and good smile seemingly evil. He was shorter than Dan, which wasn't surprising, and seemed very energetic.

Dan despised him already.

He looked at Phil who seemed so lost in their conversation and laughing he seemed to have forgot his boyfriend came here with him. Dan devised a plan he knew would make Phil mad, but would stop him immediately from talking to this boy.

Dan innocently walked up to Phil, tugging his sleeve and looking up at him with big brown eyes. "Daddy, can we go now? I'm very hungry."

Phil's eyes widened and so did the cashiers, who seemed to freeze completely. But Dan didn't break character, just looked at Phil with begging eyes.

"Dan..." Phil was blushing like mad, probably very embarrassed that Dan would call him that in public. "Are you...joking?"

Dan frowned, "No, daddy, I haven't eaten all day."

Phil face turned more beat red. "Oh god."

Dan glanced at the cashier boy to see his reaction, who looked like he didn't know what to do. Dan smiled at him, pretending to be innocent. "Hello. Who are you?"

The boy looked back at Phil and then gulped, eyes flickering back to Dan with slight confusion. He really had no idea what to do. "I...gosh, sorry, hi." He introduced, "I'm, uh-"

"Daniel, do you not remember me telling you about him?" Phil cut in, saving the boy from having to talk. "This is my ex boyfriend from college, Cameron."

Cameron? The one that broke Phil's heart?

Dan crossed his arms. "No, I don't think you talked about him at all."

Cameron awkwardly cleared his throat. "Wait, this is...Dan? Your best friend from home?"

Phil nodded, "Um, yeah. He's my boyfriend now."
