Reader pov.

I strolled down the street, whistling a tune. It was a nice day outside, birds chirping, flowers blooming, (kids burning) I was walking to edds house, he was my boyfriend and a major sweetheart.

I had bought him some cola at the store, he was almost out so I decided to be a good girlfriend and buy more. I heard a whooshing sound, and something land right behind me.

I turned around to see Eduardo wearing a super hero costume with a giant 1 on the face. "Eduardo?" I asked, he shook his head, "I am numero uno!" He says, but then, he picks me up bridal style, and flies off, cola and all.

The wind rushed past my face as he flew quickly, I closed my eyes so I wouldn't look down at the shrinking city. I held on to numero uno' s shoulders, afraid of falling to my death, this made him smile and blush.

But I didn't like him.

Eventually, we stopped and I dated open my eyes to see the ground was very far away. We landed on a huge skyscraper, and he gently set me down. "Look." He said, pointing to something.

I looked, the view was amazing, the Sun was setting over the city, and stars were just barely visible. The sky was a mix of beautiful colors, all blended like watercolor.

I stared in awe, completely forgetting I could fall off the skyscraper and die, or how Eduardo had legit kidnapped me.

After a small while, Eduardo pulled me away from the view, he pulled out a silk box, and opened it to reveal a sparkling necklace. He was fidgeting slightly and his speech was stuttered. "Y/n, you are the most perfect girl I know, you're sweet, beautiful, kind, caring and all around everything I need, will you go out with me?"

I paused, he was sweating bullets.

"Sorry Eduardo." I said, I could hear his heart shatter. "I'm dating edd." I saw something flicker in his eyes, he suddenly turned, we saw another super hero flying towards us, it was edd!

Eduardo growled, picking me up and shooting up into the air. He flew up until we were high in the air, I almost couldn't breathe. "If I can't have you, nobody can!" He said, and dropped me, I fell, the ground approaching quickly.

I looked up to see edd, catching up with me easily and swooping underneath, catching me gently and holding me close. I hugged him like my life depended (depenEDD >:3) on it, because it did.

He slowly floated to the ground, setting me down as I still held onto him. Eventually, Eduardo landed too, arms crossed, "so edd, how's about we battle. Winner dates y/n." He said.

I detached from edd, stalking towards Eduardo while he had his eyes closed. I got in front of him and kicked upwards with enough force to kill. His face twisted in pain, Eduardo keeled over, and his powers went out.

Edd walked up behind me, looking at his fallen rival. I turned back to edd and kissed his cheek, he blushed and smiled widely (cinnamon roll much?) And pulled me close to him.

I set down the bags of cola and wrapped my arms around him, I held a single can of cola behind his head, and opened it. He perked up, I showed him the can and he smiled so wide his face was going to split in half.

He downed the cola, and I picked up the bags.

We walked home holding hands.
