Monster! Tom x Monster! Reader

(A/n reader Chan's monster form gon be a big phoenix thing but not on fire because hell yeah birds! *gets hit*)

I sit in the house with Tom and Matt on the couch, watching tv. It was all going fantasticly until tord decided to saunter in and be a bitch to Tom.

Me and Tom are together, and he knows in the human persona of the Phoenix from mythology, and so does everyone else including tord.

"Hey y/n you're looking even hotter than the sun." Tord says, attempting to put an arm around me but I heat my shoulders so they burn him.

"Looks like I was correct, but you don't have to burn me." Tord says, once again trying to flirt. He arrived after me and Tom had started dating, and didn't know.

"Look commie, birdies with me." Tom snaps, he pulls me close by an arm around my waist and I let him do so. His nickname was one he was allowed to call me, but nobody else could.

I lean into him, he feels cold but I'm a human furnace and he likes the warmth.

Tord looks aghast. "She's with you?! But you're a drunk idiot! A Jehovahs witness!" I continues and I can feel Tom getting pissed off.

"Got a problem with it, commie?" Tom retorts, and tord goes on.

"Why would someone as perfect as her be with somebody like you! A worthless drunken nobody who plays a stupid guitar and shouldn't even have any girlfriend!" Tord yells.

Tom let's go of me and slams tord into the wall, and I see it happen. His hands and arms are dark gray claws, purple horns sprout from his head and I can see a tail.

Tom growls at tord, only stopping when I gasp and Matt screams.

"See, theyre afraid of you because you're a freak! Let's see if you still have a girlfriend." Tord growls, and as Tom faced me I could see he had one eye now.

His eye was widened, then it appeared to droop as tord was dropped to the floor and Tom smashed through the wall, running off into the night.

Tord got up, and sauntered over to me. "See your boyfriend, he's a monster, always has been always will be." He hissed.

I turned to him and combusted my hand, hitting him across the face and then grabbing his arm, letting it burn.

He screamed in pain as I burnt his arm, and I leaned close to him.

"You're the real monster here, you fuck." I growl, and let go, running to toms room.

I grab susan (his bass guitar fyi) and some Smirnoff that was laying around. I turn and bolt back and to the front yard, but edd stops me.

"Y/n! Where are you going?" Edd asks.

"I'll go find tom, you might wanna hospitalize tord." I say and change into my phoenix form, taking off.

I soar around, following the trail of destruction into the woods and I spot him, he's near a pond staring at his own reflection, full monster form.

I begin to circle down and land near him, switching to my human form but with what resembles a fire ombre and giving off a soft glow and warmth.

I sit down, place the Smirnoff aside and hold Susan in my arms, beginning to strum a quiet tune Tom had taught me to play.

I hum softly with it and I see him turn around, black eye staring at me and leaking tears.

He notices the Smirnoff and after some struggle, gets it open and drinks the whole thing like nothing, the bottle drops to the ground but remains intact.

After a bit of playing the same song, he inched closer, and lay down in front of me.

I hear several growls and other noises as if he's attempting to speak, but it appears that unlike me, he cannot talk in monster form.

I laugh at his attempts.

"I have no Idea what you're trying to say, Thomas." I giggle and he huffs grumpily and I feel him crawl until he's next to me.

He's colder than before, his scaly monster form may be some sort of reptile. I quit playing and pet his head, he leans in and purrs.

As I continue, he gradually turns mostly back, all that remain are his horns, claws and tail.

He's almost asleep, so I put Susan over my shoulder and stand.

"Tom, we've got to go back." I chime, switching to phoenix form and picking him up, taking off.

As I fly back, I hear him making noise again, but around the growls I can hear some words.

"Love ya birdie."

I smile to the best of my ability and continue flying.

"Love ya too."
