-reader pov-

I had just moved to england, away from my job, family, everything because my mental health wasn't doing so hot.

So, my friends in england said i could stay with them, and with no better option i accepted.

So here i sat, on a plane looking out the window and holding my arms, shaking slightly. I was crying and some of my mascara had run down my cheeks.

Since the plane was only half full, people moved away to leave me with a whole row to myself.

Either they were trying to be nice, or didnt want to be near a mess like me. Either way it helped to have my space to cry.

After the flight landed, i was getting off to leave last when a flight attendant patted me on the shoulder.

"I hope you feel better honey." She smiled, and i gave a little sad smile, wavering.

I left the airport and got out of the taxi in front of a white house with a red roof, pulling my luggage to the door.

I knocked, and edd opened it smiling, but that smile fell when he saw the mascara on my cheeks.

"Hey, cmon y/n its okay." He said, and opened his arms for a hug.

I grabbed onto him tightly, shaking and crying into his hoodie that smelled like cola and pencil shavings.

He moved my luggage inside, and shut the door. I could hear others talking.

Edd sat on the couch and i sat with him, still crying.

"Tord, go get a blanket, tom, prepare a movie and matt, get some hot chocolate." Edd said, the others scattering to fulfill his request.

With some movement, i ended up in the middle of the couch with edd and tom beside me, while tord and matt sat near my legs.

We were all wrapped in a large, fluffly blanket and mugs of hot chocolate were either on the coffee table, or in their hands.

(Fave movie) was playing, the curtains shut and lights turned off.

I sniffled, wiping my tears and giving a real smile for the first time in a long time.

Where would i be without my doofus friends?
