●i thought you cared...●

-tori pov-

I smiled as the rebel army crumbled, the remaining soldiers in dissaray since i had scattered their leaders, tamara matilda and ell.

"Now, you all have a chance at redemption!" I called to all the soldiers, only about 25 remained here.

"I will lead you, and we can improve the world!" I smiled, but they weren't buying it. In fact, 24 of the soldiers rushed me in a last effort attack.

My soldiers shot them dead, and i glanced to the one survivor, who still stood in place like a statue.

"You there! If you try any funny buisness you will end up like your battalion! State your name!"

The soldier glanced around, kneeling and checking a few others for a pulse but no result.

"My name... i thought that you knew it already..." they said.

"But if you need a reminder..." they removed their helmet to reveal h/c locks and e/c eyes. Her face set into a saddened expression.

"Its y/n, y/n m/n l/n." Her lips parted to utter and i couldnt believe my silver eye. The one remaining eye widened, the other covered by a patch.

"Y/n... you came back!" I smiled, crisom lips parting in a wide grin as i ran to my old love, and wrapped both arms around her. Both the real, and robotic one.

I pulled back, holding her shoulder with a wide smile, her eyes drifted over the scars on my face and my arm.

"Hello, dear..." she said sullenly, eyes casting downwards and a blank face.

I could feel concern gripping my heart, painfulling constricting my emotions as i saw tears begin to roll down her face.

"There isnt a need to be sad, min kjærie, we are finally together at last and those others wont get in the way!" I chimed while wiping her tears.

She shook her head, more tears pouring from her once bright eyes like liquid diamonds.

"No, tori. I dont want the world in chaos like this... i never wanted this..." she rasped.

"Remember, back before all this nonsense and we made that promise?"

My silver eye widened as i realized the conversation from years ago, realized what i had done.

"Hey tori?"

All i gave was a simple hum in response as i sat on the floor in front of the couch, her fingers weaving through my caramel colored hair.

"Promise me you'll never do anything stupid or dangerous, that youll stay safe so we can always be together?"

I turned, her hands falling from my hair and i moved, scooping her into my lap and sitting with her.

"I promise you min kjærie, nothing will come between us until death do us part."

She smiled, and leaned up against me.

"I'll hold you to that."

I realized i had broken the one thing i told her wouldnt break, done the one thing i said i wouldn't do.

But realization hit me too late, here my love stood with tears rolling down her cheeks and dripping off her chin.

I went to wipe her tears, but she pulled me into a kiss, before pulling back fast and reaching for her waistband.

Only then, i saw it.

A flash of silver as she plunged her own knife straight into her torso where her heart was placed, red blood beginning to seep into her clothes.

I grabbed onto her, holding her close in disbelief before screaming to my guards.

"CALL A DOCTOR! NOW!!!"

They rushed to fufill my demand but i could feel the life draining from my dear's body, her eyes already beginning to fade.

"Tori... lets... be honest..." she spluttered, couging out blood.

Tears seeped from my eyes, and i shook in fear.

"It was... was always going to end... like this..."

My eye widened.

"No, no dearie dont say that, you'll be just fine, please just stay with me..."

She smiled at my words, i could see her blood spilling from her mouth.

"My love, tori..... i love you.. and i... always... have..."

With her final words, she fell limp in my arms.

"Y/n, please honey you're scaring me..."

No response.

I couldnt stop the strangled scream of anguish that clawed its way out of my throat, as i held her body close.

I cant let this happen...

I just cant...
