Us Against The World(Jared Leto Oneshot:Part 3)

*Savannah's pov*
~4 months later~

Our sweet Jackson came into the world on November 7th 3 weeks early he weighed 6 pounds 1 oz and was 17.5 inches long...he was absolutely perfect and looked just like Jared..I was smitten..Jackson was a about 8 weeks now so I decided to do some Christmas shopping and for Jared's birthday with Constance...then I would meet Jared for lunch...while shopping I had Jackson close to my chest in this nifty little carrier sling that one of Jared's former costars gave us as a baby shower gift I glanced down at my sleeping baby...I smiled as Constance handed me a coffee "Thank you."

Constance smiled "I was a new mom once myself Savannah I know the need for coffee when I see it...have you slept?"

I sighed "I try but with Jared home I'm trying so hard to be a good wife and mother."

She smiled "Oh honey...you gotta rest you have a baby a not even 2 month old baby...Jared is 46 he can take care of himself for a few hours while you rest...I know you want to do it all work and still be the perfect wife and mom but you got to remember you just had a baby 8 weeks ago and you're human ask for help that's what I'm here for..your father...Shannon...most of all Jared. "

I nodded "I know...I just feel so clueless sometimes...like I'm going to screw this up."

Constance placed a gentle hand on my shoulder "You will trust me I did having 2 babies less than a year and a half apart you'll mess up...I know it's not the same but I am here I have no problems dropping everything to see my favorite daughter-in-law and grandson even if it's to let you sleep for a couple hours."

I smiled "Thank you.."

She smiled taking Jackson out of the sling "Its no problem at all...now give me the sling give mama a few minutes of peaceful shopping."

I took of the sling and helped her get him back in "Thank you Constance.."

Constance smiled "Its nothing...now Jackson let's go find your daddy and mommy the perfect present from you."

I smiled softly...I managed to get almost all of my shopping done..after loading up the car I headed to meet Jared...I pulled into the parking lot to see him leaning against his car I parked behind him and got out "Hey.."

Jared smiled greeting me with a tender kiss "Hi..you look beautiful."

I looked down at my attire ripped cropped jeans and a oversized shirt with a tanktop all paired with a pair of booties "Thank you."

He smiled "Did my mom steal Jackson?"

I shook my head "Not this time she had a lunch date.."

Jared raised an eyebrow as he got Jackson and his carrier out of the car "What lunch date and with who?"

I laughed as I got the diaper bag out and locked the car "A friend of my dad's...its just lunch."

He wrapped his free arm around my shoulders pressing a kiss to my temple "Your dad setting my mom up why is that unsettling?"

I laughed "Oh shut up Jared."

Jared laughed as we walked to the restaurant of course the paparazzi were out in full force "Hey guys"

"How you enjoying fatherhood Jared?"

He smiled one of the purest smiles I've ever seen "I'm loving every second of it...one of the best things I've ever done."

"Savannah when can we expect new additions to the line?"

I smiled "Soon."

Jared smiled "Now if you'll excuse us guys we're gonna go have lunch."

"Thanks guys."

He nodded "Later.."

With that we went and had a nice lunch just the 3 of us...once home I got Jackson settled in bed while Jared went into his studio..I managed to get all presents wrapped and labeled and put under the tree...when I went down with the last gift I could hear humming coming from the studio...I quietly walked over easing the door open to see my husband sitting in front of the piano holding Jackson...I took a picture as he looked down at Jackson smiling *Father and son bonding...he's truly an amazing daddy #blessed #oneluckygirl #hotbabydaddy* I spoke softly "He okay?"

Jared smiled "Yeah heard him fussing so I got him...figured I'd bring him in here introduce him to daddy's chaotic life."

I walked over pressing a kiss to his cheek "I love you so much."

He smiled "I love you too."

I placed a gentle hand on his cheek "I mean it you've been the most amazing loving man our whole relationship no matter what was going on you made sure I knew I could rely on you..and now you with Jackson you're an amazing father Jared."

Jared looked at me with those beautiful blue eyes of his "What's going on Ava?"

I shook my head with a smile as I sat on the bench beside him "Nothing...I guess I've realized how lucky I am call it the holiday spirit I suppose...but we had the odds against us since day one and look at us almost 3 years of marriage...this perfect little boy...we defeated the odds baby we proved them wrong?"

Jared gave me a warm smile and chuckled as he lifted Jackson up "We have haven't we...I knew 3 months in I was going to be with you for the rest of our lives....even now I know I made the best decision if my life that night we met....I married the love of life and we have this cute little monster and I hope more to come."

I smiled softly "I actually wouldn't mind it."

He looked at me "Really?"

I nodded "Well not right away give it a few months but yeah I wouldn't mind having kids close in age..hopefully if that happens they'll be as close as you and Shannon."

Jared nodded with a smile "Yeah."

I smiled softly "So can I bribe you to leave this room and come cuddle on the couch?"

He smiled standing up with Jackson "Sounds great.."

I smiled as we walked out..we cuddled on the couch with Jared laying on the couch with me beside him and Jackson on his chest...I was drifting off to sleep when I heard him mumble

Jared kissed the top of my head mumbling "Its us against the world baby.."

I smiled to myself falling asleep with my two loves happily
