When I met Brea she was a breath of fresh air to our chaotic lives when our regular tour manager had to leave due to family problems Irving sent her she meshed well into the crew holding her own with us granted she was a 20 year old kid she was amazing what was funny is her and Jared share a birthday so naturally she was the perfect fit...we spent a lot of time together her being someone I could vent to about girls who only wanted me to get close to Jared or to say they fucked his brother and her to vent about the shitty guys she went on dates with...I began falling hard for those big blue eyes and that mess of dark hair...she was the most down to earth girl I ever met and had the most loving heart I've ever seen..before the end of 2007 we were dating and I was so in love with her...everything felt easy with her she made me happy and of course mom loved her...now her dad didn't like me one bit I mean what father likes any man their daughter dates but he was civil to me for her sake...we were now in the middle of a lawsuit and recording this album all while Jared was filming...Bre came from a family of very successful lawyers so it wasn't much of a surprise when we were trying to pay for all this she showed up with a decent sized check handing it to Jared of course an argument insued between the two but Bre and her stubbornness won....she has honestly been amazing through all this...I walked out of the lab to see Bre sitting on the counter walking to Vicki and Emma "Ladies."
Emma smiled "Y'all done?"
I shook my head "Needed a break before I shove my brother's head through a snare."
Brea frowned "Shannon."
I walked over standing between her legs burying my face in her neck "I know..."
Emma nodded "Vicki how about we run for some food....I think this is one for Bre to fix this time."
Brea sighed "Thanks Em.."
She nodded "It's fine other than Constance you're the only one who can handle those two."
She nodded "I got it.."
Emma nodded "Be back soon...with food."
I sighed as I heard the front door open and close..I wrapped my arms around her torso "Baby.."
Brea moved her fingers into my hair letting her fingertips massage my scalp "You three are under so much stress...you and Jared more than anything you want this album to do well shove it in EMIs face...Jared means well but he wants you guys to succeed.."
I grumbled not leaving our embrace "I hate when you're right."
She pulled my head up making me look at her "I get it trust me..Jared pushes buttons and you want to strangle the life out of him but you're bandmates...more importantly you're brothers.."
I sighed letting my forehead rest against hers "I love you."
Brea smiled softly "I love you too my bear."
I let my fingertips dig into her lower back slightly "I'd go insane without you."
She smiled "Baby you're already there."
I chuckled "Babe.."
Jared walked in "Shannon we need to finish this."
Brea looked over pushing me away "Come here now."
He sighed walking over standing beside me "What is it Brea."
She sighed "Now this stops...I get it...I understand but you two bickering and fighting doesn't help...Shannon you're so hard headed and stubborn...Jared you are so driven and a perfectionist and I adore that about you both...you're brothers it's expected to but heads but you're bandmates it's not just you two...its Tomo too...finish this album show them why you are where you are...why you have the following you have."
Jared chuckled "Yes ma'am."
Brea shook her head with a small smile "I'm being serious Jared...we want this over as much as you do but this isn't helping anyone okay need to vent come to me but quit taking it out on each other okay...because frankly I'm ready to kill you both over it."
I nodded "Scouts honor babe."
She rolled her eyes "You two are hopeless."
He laughed "Bre you angry is hilarious...you're 5 foot and what 120 maybe...it's funny..but I promise no more."
Brea shook her head "Okay."
Jared kissed her cheek "I swear Bre no more."
She nodded "Okay."
I watched Jared walk out before looking at my girlfriend "Am I in trouble too?"
Brea nodded "A bit."
I smiled down at her "I love you."
She pulled me back by my t-shirt "I love you too.."
I pressed a light kiss to her lips "Tell me you've thought about what I asked you last night?"
Brea nodded "I have...and it's a big step Shannon I know we're heading into 2 years but this is a huge thing.."
I nodded "I know...but you're always there anyways and I want you there I want to make it ours.."
She went to speak as her phone started ringing "Hold that thought it's Irving...he must not be able to get through to J..."
I watched her hop off the counter phone to her ear..a few minutes later she looked at me a huge grin on her face just as Tomo and Jared walked out of the lab and Vicki and Emma walked into the house "What is it?"
Brea smiled widely "You won...the case is settled..its over guys its really over."
Jared laughed "Holy shit really?"
She nodded "You have a meeting wirh Irving, lawyers, and EMI tomorrow to discuss a new contract."
I laughed grabbing her up in a hug "Holy shit it's really fucking over."
Brea laughed "Shannon put me down."
I set her down on her feet "Say yes...say you'll move in."
She smiled up at me "Yes."
I leaned down pressing a kiss to her lips finally things are getting better
