Things actually got easier Jared insisted I stayed with him..after a little arguing I agreed...with Shannon and I we took our time the feelings were there and only got stronger...by the by March 2009 we made it official...we were serious we made the decision by the end of the year to move in together..now I found myself on tour once again with the boys..I had since taken over the merch designs for Jared...here I was working on a few new things when a pair of arms wrapped around my waist...I smiled as the smell of a very familiar cologne hit my nose "Shannon.."
Shannon chuckled nuzzling my neck "Why are you working?"
I smiled "Because you guys need this stuff."
He nodded slightly "Neglect I say.."
I laughed "Neglect?"
Shannon nodded "Yup...you're standing here looking hot as hell...and your working when you could be letting me get you off."
I laughed softly "You act like it's been so long since you've gotten laid."
He nodded with a pout as he leaned against the table "It's been 4 days."
I had to laugh "You're seriously counting how many days we haven't had sex?"
Shannon pouted standing up straight "Yes."
I moved wrapping my arms around his torso letting my chin rest on his chest "My poor guy...think you can manage to stick to a quickie?"
He raised an eyebrow "What happened to never having sex in the dressing rooms?"
I shrugged "Things change and time is ticking away before I have to find Emma."
Shannon nodded quickly pulling me into the bathroom pressing my back against the door his lips on mine
It was a blur of clothing and limbs...after our little quickie turned into two...after cleaning up we got redressed..I was fixing my make up when I noticed the shit eating grin on Shannon's face "Satisfied?"
He smiled wrapping his arms around me "Always...just wait until I get you into bed tonight...no worries about anyone walking in."
I turned my head pressing a kiss to his lips "I love you."
Shannon smiled "Mmm I love you too."
I smiled softly as we walked out..as we walked down the hall we found Jared talking to someone I ran up jumping on Jared's back "Hi."
Jared laughed as he held onto my legs "Hey Tinkerbell."
I smiled "Why do call me that anyways."
He chuckled "Because you're so short and petite and sometimes rather annoying yet a whole lot of attitude."
I opened my mouth to argue but couldn't "I don't have a comeback for that one...let me down."
Jared laughed letting me go "Where were you two anyways?"
Shannon shrugged with a smile "Dressing room."
He laughed "Seriously did you please tell me you stayed off the couch."
He grinned "Bathroom."
I felt the blush on my cheeks "I gotta go find Emma."
Jared laughed as I turned to walk away "Ash.."
I laughed walking away...I stood off to the side with Chloe as the meet and greet went on "Hmm?"
Chloe whispered "I've wanted to ask so many times do these ever bother you...I mean some actually full on throw themselves at Shannon."
I shrugged "Not really I mean some make me a little uncomfortable because well it's no secret who I am but I trust Shannon and some of it is silly."
She nodded "You got more restraint than I do...I couldn't do it."
I smiled "Trust me I've come close..when they were touring last time for the last album some girls I use that term loosely they were quiet a bit older than me..anyway they saw me talking to Shannon of course before I walked away be kissed my forehead no big deal we were friends at that time I was called a whore and many other things I almost punched them both but I just walked way laughing."
Chloe giggled softly "Ulitmate revenge you actually are dating him now."
I nodded "Exactly."
Jared spoke "Care to share with the class ladies."
I cracked up laughing "Girl talk...absolutely none of your business Jared."
He pouted playfully "Fine be that way...see how mean she is to me...supposed to be my best friend."
I laughed "Don't turn it on me you were being nosey."
Shannon laughed "That's my girl."
I smiled softly watching the guys...before long it was show time I stood backstage with Shannon..he had my head cradled in his hands as my fingertips grazed his sides through his cut out shirt.."I love you."
He smiled softly letting his nose brush lightly against mine "I love you too..."
I got my bottom lip slightly "You need to go."
Shannon nodded "I know."
I pulled him closer "Go get em Shanimal."
He leaned down capturing my lips with his..he pulled back slightly "Tonight."
I smiled softly "Tonight."
Shannon kissed me again then walked off
I stood watching the show...after the show we went to the hotel...I collapsed back on the bed trying to catch my breath "Damn...remind me to withhold sex more often."
He laughed "I'd prefer if you didn't."
I nodded moving into his arms "We'll see."
Shannon let his hand rest on my lower back "I'm going to make you the happiest woman alive baby."
I traced my finger along his jaw "You do every day."
He looked at me with those beautiful hazel eyes "Good.."
I smiled softly laying my head on his chest "I want you happy Shannon."
Shannon nodded "These 2 years have been the happiest I've ever been...because of you."
I smiled letting my hand rest in his stomach "Good.."
He chuckled softly "Yes it is.."
I closed my eyes listening to his heartbeat as he hummed softly running his fingers through my hair..I fell asleep peacefully in his arms
