Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word(Shannon Leto-Part 1)

*Brea's pov*

I met Shannon in 2006..I was 21 fresh out of college and just released my first line I met Jared who asked me to design the merch for his band I agreed and it was so much fun I became great friends with the guys especially Jared and Shannon...as time went on I fell for Shannon I tried fighting it but to no luck by 2011 we were dating....things were going great or so I thought here we were on vacation I sat staring at the 2 tests sitting on the sink "This couldn't be happening 3 years in and I'm pregnant does he want kids...I know I wasn't ready for kids...I slid to the floor in tears...I jumped as the door opened "Emma.."

Emma looked at me "Bre..you okay?"

I shook my head "No.."

She looked concerned "What's wrong?"

I motioned to the sink "That."

Emma sighed deeply "Brea..."

I shook my head "I don't know what to do."

She sat beside me tests in hand "Well first calm down it's not the end of the world women have babies all the time...you have a stable job and you are doing quite well...second you need to tell Shannon..."

I took a deep shakey breath "Okay.."

Emma gave me a side hug "Its gonna be okay...I got your back."

I smiled softly "Thanks Em."

She smiled "Go talk to him."

I stood up and wiped my face..I took a deep breath and walked out...I walked outside to see Shannon playing catch "Hey.."

Shannon jogged over...he tilted my head up "Were you crying?"

I nodded "We need to talk.."

He nodded and followed me down the beach "What's wrong?"

I turned facing him "I don't know how else to say this...but I'm pregnant Shannon...at least 2 pregnancy tests say so."

Shannon looked at me "Are you 100%"

I sighed "No but it's not likely both tests are false positives..."

He ran his fingers through his hair "How did this happen?"

I sighed deeply "Birth control fails...so do condoms..."

Shannon sighed "A kid.."

I crossed my arms over my chest feeling incredibly small in this moment "Not like I planned this..I've been crying for a hour."

He shook his head as he paced "A fucking kid Brea a kid..we can't have a kid..I don't know if I even want kids...you're not even out of your fucking 20s yet!"

I bit the inside of my cheek trying to stop the tears from falling but failed letting out a choked sob

Shannon stopped "Brea.."

I just shook my head and walked away I could hear him call after me..I kept going until I ran into Jared

Jared put his hands on my shoulders "You okay?"

I shook my head and pushed past him...I went inside and saw Emma who looked at me with a frown when she saw my tears "Jamie I need you to set me up a flight please."

Emma sighed "Brea.."

I shook my head "I need to go home."

She nodded with a sigh "Okay..Jamie I got it."

I nodded and went into our shared room...I threw the tests away and changed out of my beach gear and started packing...I looked up as the door opened to see Emma "Yes.."
