Here's To Us(Shannon Leto-Part 6)

*Katlyn's pov*

Our first year of marriage brought us a lot celebrating the first year of Black Fuel...and on March 9, 2017 we welcome our first child a daughter Everleigh Olivia Leto she was honestly perfect and looks just like Shannon with exception of the lighter hair and her hazel eyes tend to turn a little blue..Shannon was an incredible father..while I was pregnant Shannon decided we should leave Los Angeles...so we settled for Seattle frankly I loved the change of pace...and I found it slightly better to raise Everleigh there instead of LA...naturally we would be in LA a lot because of 30 Seconds to Mars and my own career but Seattle was home now but we kept our house...the guys had just returned from Europe after attending a couple of award shows and doing some promoting for the tour in spring...while I was pregnant I had started a children's clothing line which was connect to numerous charities I was passionate with between my own career and my marriage people took notice which landed me here at the Ellen show for an interview..I stood backstage Shannon was here tending to Everleigh...I pressed a kiss to my daughter's cheek "See you soon monkey girl."

Shannon chuckled "Leaving me out?"

I tiptoed pressing a kiss to his lips "Thank you for being here."

He smiled "Call it returning the favor for all the years of you being here like this for me."

I smiled softly as a stagehand said my name "Gotta go.."

Shannon gave me another kiss "Kill em babe."

I smiled and walked off...after I was introduced I walked out...I had to laugh as they played a Mars song as I walked out..I gave Ellen a hug then sat down "How are you?"

Ellen smiled "I'm great you look amazing.."

I smiled "Thank you."

She smiled "Now thus is actually the first time I've had you here as a guest...but you've been here a few times with a certain band a favorite of mine might I add."

I smiled as a picture popped up of Jared, Shannon and Tomo when they were on the show not long ago "Yes I have in fact I was here for that performance."

Ellen smiled "Not many people know the connection unless they follow you."

I smiled "I am married to Shannon Leto...the drummer for 30 Seconds to Mars...I suppose sister-in-law to Jared Leto has been added to that as well."

She smiled "Its been 2 years if I remember correctly."

I laughed softly "Yeah we've actually April will be 9 years we've been together but January will be our 2nd wedding anniversary."

Ellen smiled "Not often you see the Leto brothers all dressed up like that unless it's award season."

I laughed softly as she showed the picture from wedding of me, Shannon, Jared and Constance "Tell me about it in fact I had an argument with Jared about his hair which was a fading pink at the time..as you can tell he changed it...they clean up quite well."

She smiled "Now this children's line that is the talk of LA hits some charities that mean quite a lot to you..."

I nodded "I've been interested in doing a line for some time being in modeling I've seen my fair share I collaborated with a friend on a lingerie line and I've had my hand in designing shirts for my husband's business and the band but when I found out I was pregnant I knew exactly what I wanted to do and that's how Liv Ella was born."

Ellen smiled "Liv Ella has quite the beautiful meaning doesn't it."

I smiled "It's abbreviation of Olivia Isabella which was my mother's name  and Olivia happens to be my daughter's middle name...I lost my mother when I was 6 to cancer which is one of the charities this line is connected to...I knew when this all started to come together this was what was to be done...my mom never got the chance to be here for all the things that have happened in my life...meeting Shannon, my wedding, becoming a mom...this was my way of saying I love you and I miss you...look at the woman you made."
