Family Matters(Shannon Leto-Part 2)

*Shannon's pov*

Our little Kaia Addison came into the world on December 27, 2014 at 10:45pm weighing 6 pounds even and 17 inches long...she was honestly the prettiest baby I had ever seen and not because she was my daughter...we had just wrapped up our Christmas festivities with our families when Bryce doubled over in the kitchen with contractions...nearly a little over 24 hours later she arrived...now she was 2 1/2 and so full of sass she was so much like Bryce it was unreal and how much she acted like me and Jared did as kids it was scary...she was a complete daddy's girl but she was all about her mama too...and of course we all lost to her Papa or Uncle Jared...I stood with Kaia while Bryce dealt with whatever Jared was doing while she was pregnant since it was no longer safe for her to be on stage taking picture she took on a lot of the tour issues becoming a form of a manager freeing Irving up some also dealing with my company...I kneeled with her letting her look out over Camp Mars "I do this for you Kaia...you and your Mama...one day my princess you will rule the world if I have anything to say about it."

Kaia looked at me with those beautiful blue eyes at me "Daddy.."

I laughed as I picked her up holding her over my head "My beautiful little Duckie..."

She squealed in laughter "Daddy!!!"

I laughed as I let her down blowing a raspberry on her cheek "Daddy loves you Duckie"

Kaia wrapped her little arms around my neck "My daddy.."

I smiled as Bryce walked up "Look Mama is back."

Bryce smiled "What are you up to my little Duckie?"

Kaia smiled widely "Mama I pwincess.."

She tucked a loose strand of dark hair behind Kaia's ear "Yes you are my sweet baby girl and so much more than that."

I nodded "That's right..you can do or be whatever your heart desires want to be president baby we got you."

Bryce smiled "Exactly...but in the meantime little duck you need to come with me while daddy works.."

She went directly to her "We watch daddy?"

She nodded "Yup..."

I gave both my girls a kiss then walked off to do what I had to do to get this weekend started off...I listened to Jared then cut him off "Wait...we have two special guests this weekend one you've seen at shows for a while now but one she's been around Camp Mars since she was 8 months old this year she's old enough to partake a little...so let me introduce my wife Bryce and our daughter Kaia.."

Kaia ran out bypassing me and running straight to Jared "J!"

I laughed "As you see even my own daughter prefers Jared over me..at least my wife doesn't."

Jared laughed "Beacuse dad makes rules uncle just goes with the flow."

Bryce laughed "Thus why I've had to rescue your clothing from the washer way more than I should."

He laughed "Touche...but nah I love being an uncle..but this girl is a Daddy's girl."

I smiled as Kaia came to me "Say hi Duckie."

Kaia looked at the crowed a little unsure "Mommy..."

Bryce spoke softly "Its okay..."

She looked at Bryce then back out at the crowd she smiled slightly and waved "Hi.."

I kissed her temple as she clung to my neck "Go to you mama."

Kaia instantly went to Bryce burying her face into her neck

I chuckled softly "You guys managed to embarrass my daughter that never happens..."

Bryce smiled "Wanna say bye Duckie?"

She shook her head "No mommy.."

I smiled pressing a kiss to my wife's cheek before she walked away...before long it was show time I could see Kaia out of the corner of my eye bouncing around happily with her headphones on Bryce by now had made her put on her flannel for the cool night...it was time for the last song I smiled softly motioning to Kaia to come up "Come on Duckie.."

Bryce lifted her up "Be careful."

I smiled "Always baby."

She swatted my thigh lightly "I mean it Shannon don't let her fall."

I nodded "Baby I got her promise."

Bryce nodded and walked back to the side

I sat Kaia on my lap "Remember what I showed you?"

Kaia nodded "Es."

I smiled and moved her hands along with mine...I laughed at the excited look on her face as she thought she was playing

Jared chuckled as the song ended "Alright guys lets hear it for the baby animal...our little Duckie.."

I unhooked myself and stepped down holding Kaia..I whispered "Wave to the crowd Duckie."

Kaia shook her head laying it on my shoulder

He smiled slightly "Looks like she's wore herself out..."

I rubbed her back slightly "Want your mama?"

She nodded "Sweep daddy."

I walked over but was met half way by Bryce "I'll meet you at the cabin."

Bryce nodded "Okay.."

I gave her a quick kiss then went back to where Jared and Tomo stood...once it was over I went back to the cabin...I saw Bryce and Kaia dressed in pajamas curled up in bed sound asleep my beautiful girls my everything I showered and dressed quickly joining my girls in bed
