More Than Words(Jared Leto-Part 1)

*Aubrey's pov*

I met Jared in 2008 through my friend Emma who happened to work for him...we hit it off pretty good becoming friends as the year went on feelings changed by spring 2009 we were dating...I accepted what would happen once the world knew we were dating...I took the rumors in stride I trusted Jared but I knew how media worked I knew it well..I grew up in the age of 80s rock bands...the LA strip I knew how the Hollywood world worked at a very young age having parents in it was one thing but being adult now in the social media age dating a celebrity wasn't easy....I sat in the trailer while Jared was filming editing pictures looking through what Terry sent me when I got a message from Lee my step father asking if Jared and I were okay...followed by a message from my sister-in-law asking why wasn't I being seen with Jared and were we still together..curiousity got the better of me so I hit google..then I saw the article...I wasn't angry strangely I wasn't hurt...I was numb...I packed up my computer and found Constance telling her I was going back to the hotel...I threw my stuff down and stripped deciding to drown my troubles in ice cream and a hot bubble bath...I laid back in the hot bath listening to music enjoying my peace and quiet...eventually I got out and got dressed in shorts and an old tshirt...I faced time Shannon I need to talk to someone close to Jared without it being his mom.."Hey Shan."

Shannon smiled "Hey Aubs...why aren't you on set with Mom and Jared?"

I sighed "Had to leave...I've been getting messages from my family asking me if me and Jared are still together."

He nodded "Well obviously you are...you guys are living together."

I nodded "Yeah."

Shannon raised an eyebrow "Alright Aubs what's going on...you know I love our talks but I know when something is bothering you your eyes turn gray. "

I frowned "I got curious as to why they were texting me asking me so I googled Jared...I know not my smarter decision and I've never done it but I found an article he did recently and I just I didn't like it."

He nodded "Okay tell me what it said."

I sighed "It's not what it said it's what he said...they asked if he was seeing someone his answer was no he doesn't have time and then there is some picture with him and some leggy tall brunette...obviously not me."

Shannon sighed "Aubrey you know how this goes..."

I nodded "Strangely I'm not hurt I'm not even angry...Shannon I'm just numb..."

He frowned "He loves you."

I nodded "I know...but that's just it it's always the same he'll apologize tell me he loves me buy me whatever he thinks will make me happy but that's not what I want I want him to just quit trying to please the world and put me and him at some importance."

Shannon nodded "That's what you need to tell him Aubs trust me I'm here I know my brother but you need to tell him."

I nodded "Thanks Shan for listening to me complain yet again."

He smiled "After all the crazy women you've saved me from listening to you complain about my idiot brother is the least I can do.."

I smiled softly "I'm gonna get off here...mentally prepare for this talk with Jared."

Shannon nodded "Love ya Aubs."

I smiled "You too Shan...later."

He nodded "Later."

I ended the call and laid back on the bed hours I sat editing more pictures when I heard the door open and a groan as shoes hit the floor...I looked up as Jared walked in still dressed as Rayon "Make up wipes are on the sink."
