Perfect(Jared Leto-Part 2)

*Ashton's pov*

Things were pretty good the tour was amazing the places we visited to do videos was even more amazing..at the beginning of 2008 Jared asked me to move in I said yes...but as I was moving in when the tour ended and the boys began working on new music they were hit with the bombshell that EMI was suing them for 30 million dollars...the guys were having a hard time with it especially Jared and what started out as a documentary about recording the new album turned into one of them fighting this bullshit lawsuit...I tried to help as much as I could even though they had a fantastic lawyers I called my dad for advice even though I knew it wouldn't go over well if the step-monster found out...I stood in the kitchen drinking coffee as I talked to Emma "I don't know what to do...he's not sleeping well when I actually manage to get him to come to bed he tosses and turns.."

Emma frowned "It's getting to them..I wish I had some miracle or fairy godmother to make this go away."

I sighed "Me too..."

She nodded "But he has you...I've seen him completely lose it he's been calm."

I nodded looking around at the very minimal Christmas decorations around our living room "I got the perfect idea...a Charlie Brown tree!"

Emma laughed "What on earth made you think about that?"

I smiled "Jared and I talked about going and getting a tree this week...why don't we get Shannon and Jared and go pick out a Charlie Brown tree...get a laugh and well we get a damn tree."

She laughed "Perfect idea.."

Jared walked in with Shannon "What are you two laughing about?"

I smiled "Get your stuff we're going to get a tree and Shannon you're driving."

He looked at me as Shannon nodded "Really babe?"

I smiled "I know but we all need a break from this headache and we were planning to go anyways...so I get to have my boys focus on something else for a little while and I get a tree."

Jared leaned down pressing a kiss to my lips "Let's go..."

I smiled as we got our stuff and we all laughed...I watched the boys looking at the big pretty trees...my gaze met that if a smirking Emma...I smiled "I want a Charlie Brown tree."

Shannon turned quickly "What?"

I shrugged "I've always had the  way too perfect tree I want a Charlie Brown Christmas tree.."

He chuckled "She's your girl Jared."

Jared looked down at me "Ashton?"

I smiled "I want this...who knows this could the start of our own little tradition."

He smiled "If it's what you want baby I'll make it happen."

I smiled "You and Shannon pick."

Jared grinned widely and walked off

I stood back with Emma watching the two goofballs let loose while looking for the perfect Charlie Brown tree...I could help but laugh at the two made fun of this tree joking and laughing with the lady who was selling them...that was the tree the guys decided on..when we got it to the house I stood with Jared "Well?"

He chuckled "Well it was a bargin....and if that's what you really want I'm okay with it."

I smiled softly "Baby it wasn't even about the tree...it was about getting you and Shannon to let loose a little have a little fun forgot this mess for a little bit..."

Jared smiled down at me "You did this for us?"

I smiled softly "Me and Emma."

He smiled "God I love you."
