You're Mine(Shannon Leto-Part 1)

*Rylan's pov*

I met the Leto brothers in 2006 I was a 20 year old kid...I had been in LA 6 years at this point attending college furthering my skills behind the camera...I was eventually hired to take pictures of a band 30 Seconds to Mars which is how I met the guys...we all formed a pretty great friendships even becoming the band's full time photographer even helping Jared with videos...in 2008 things became different after Shannon and I had a slightly drunken hook up one night we began a friends with benefits relationship whenever we were both single we'd call each other...well after a few years it wasn't enough for me so I ended the just sex relationship dating wasn't turning up much of anything guys wanting to get close because of who I was friends with...Shannon had his fair share of women and he made sure I saw which made me avoid him as much as I could..I was working with a new lens for my camera when Jared walked up "Hey."

Jared leaned against the railing "Still not talking to Shannon?"

I nodded "Until he quits acting like a dick."

He chuckled "What exactly is going on between you two?"

I looked at him "He never told you?"

Jared shook his head "Obviously not."

I sighed "We were having a friends with benefits arrangement I wanted more he liked having other women I ended it and started dating...now he makes sure I see every chick he decides to date as a result I keep my distance."

He nodded "Well Shannon is an idiot.."

I laughed softly "I agree..."

Jared leaned forward on his arms "Why does it bother you so much...away from my brother being an idiot and a dick...why and don't lie I've know 4 going on 5 years now I got you pretty much figured out."

I sighed deeply as I took another picture "I started falling for him...he didn't return said feelings so before it got any further I ended it I started dating and he kept being Shannon and making sure I knew it..."

He nodded "Do you still feel something?"

I sighed looking over at him "I do but like I said Shannon is Shannon you know this so it's pointless...its easier to push it aside and just move along accept the face while we're friends I'm just another notch in his bedpost."

Jared nodded as he kissed the top of my head "I'm sorry Ry...maybe one day he'll grow up and wake up before he loses his chance."

I smiled softly "Thanks J...but I am okay promise."

He smiled "I know you are."

I smiled "Jared."

Jared hugged me and went inside

I looked around the parking lot taking a deep breath then walking inside I saw Shannon flirting with some chick..I shook my head and kept walking

Shannon smiled "Hey Ry."

I shook my head "I'm busy...obviously you are too.."

He shook his head with a chuckle "Still being a bitch."

I raised an eyebrow "Still being a whore."

Shannon looked at me in shock as did many others around I usually ignored his comments but today something snapped "Rylan."

I shook my head and walked away...I talked to the others but steered clear of Shannon except taking pictures on stage...after the show I stood talking to a tech for the opening act innocent flirting I was 24 and single I didn't have to answer to anyone..and it was going okay until my elbow was grabbed and I was pulled away...I jerked my arm away "What is your problem?!"
