Not A Bad Thing(Shannon Leto-Part 6)

*Shannon's pov*

Fatherhood was amazing I was loving every minute of it..on February 19 Lena and I got married Aubrey was 4 months old and the travel went pretty smoothly...we didn't have some extravagant wedding she wore a simple white sundress I wore a white linen shirt and khakis which was Lena's only request..no groomsmen no bridesmaids..Emma actually got ordained the day we flew out to marry us...it was a day full of starting a new chapter in our lives with our nearest and dearest...Aubrey was now about to be 9 months old and she was quite the character today I had a pop up event for Black Fuel...now Lena has attended just about everyone we've done but this would be the first one Aubrey has attended...I walked downstairs hearing music only to find my wife and daughter in the kitchen..Lena had Aubrey on her hip as they danced around the kitchen Aubrey giggling..I laughed "Look at my girls."

Elena laughed as she turned the radio down "Hi..."

I walked over kissing my daughter's cheek then my wife's lips "What's with the dancing this morning?"

She smiled softly "She was crawling and slipped hitting her chin this calmed her down."

I smoothed my hand over Aubrey's hair "My poor baby."

Elena smiled softly "She's a tough little girl."

I smiled "Just like her mother."

She smiled softly "So this pop up how is it gonna go?"

I shrugged "Should be pretty routine..Travis can't attend this one so I'm going to need you to step in you know everything.."

Elena nodded "Okay..."

I smiled "Great...her diaper bag ready?"

She nodded "On the couch."

I smiled "Let's go.."

Elena nodded "Let's."

I nodded and with that we left...I did my thing everyone was enjoying themselves and Aubrey was enjoying all the extra attention...I smiled as Lena talked to someone Aubrey on her hip..I smiled softly doing a little interview with a website "Yeah I'm very passionate about coffee..my wife laughs at me over how picky I am...says she can't stand to go eat anywhere with me that serves coffee."

The guy laughed "Does Elena have much to do with Black Fuel or is this a one time thing?"

I smiled "She's been very involved...we've known each other 13 years we've been together 7 so she's picked up my taste in coffee she was apart of this entire process...Black Fuel is my baby but it's something we built together."

He nodded "A legacy for your daughter of sorts."

I nodded "Pretty much...I've been lucky to have the amazing career I have Black Fuel has been a way to share my love of coffee with the world...and secure a future of stability for my family."

The guy nodded "Will we see more of your family at these pop ups?"

I nodded "Definetly."

He nodded "Thanks Shannon."

I nodded "Thank you.."

The guy nodded and walked away..

I walked over to where Lena stood giving Aubrey a taste of a donut "She like it?"

Elena laughed "She loves it."

I took Aubrey "Hey princess."

She smiled softly "Oh Jared wants us to meet him for a late lunch before he leaves."

I nodded "Sounds great what do you think Aubs wanna go eat with Uncle J?"

Aubrey took her little hand grabbing my nose
