The Only One(Jared Leto-Part 1)

*Rylie's pov*

I met Jared in start of 2006 and we connected instantly it started with phone calls and texts and slowly grew into late night calls when we couldn't sleep to him begging me to fly out wherever he was at and I did...by that winter we were offically dating and it was out I fell hard for him but after nearly 2 years of the cheating rumors and pictures I couldn't take anymore after a huge fight before the end of their tour I ended I couldn't take it anymore I wasn't a stranger to life in the media I was the daughter of Phil Lewis and Adeline Riley who was a model...granted I was 2 when I came to the US but I knew how this worked...I kept in contacts with the others but I couldn't deal with Jared..I was in my studio when the door opened "Just a sec.."

"No rush."

I looked over my screen to see Shannon "Shannon hey..whats up."

Shannon sighed handing me a coffee "Peace offering but seriously talk to Jared he's driving me insane."

I sighed deeply "Shannon."

He nodded "Look I know he fucked up..my brother is a goddamn idiot I told him multiple times he needed to address all of it..but Rylie you two were so good together...Jared was bareable...hell no one but you could deal with him while he was filming Chapter 27..."

I sighed deeply "You know he told me to grow up..me..all because I was pissed because of all of it...roles reversed he would of been livid."

Shannon sat beside me "You came into his life after all that bullshit with well you know Jared isn't one to admit he messed up...but Rylie you have to talk to him...and I already asked Emma I know you're a mess too."

I sighed "I can't Shannon...I can't put my all into something Jared won't defend that was all I asked of him is if he loved me as much as he claimed he'd defend us...and he wouldn't I like my privacy too but damnit I would like to know that every asshole with a computer isn't posting about Jared and whatever little model they decide is more fitting than I am..."

He nodded "You're preaching to the choir Ry I've told him this..answer me this do you miss him."

I stared at the screen in front of me I couldn't lie especially to Shannon "I do."

Shannon nodded "I know you still love him...he loves you...you ended this you need to talk to him...either end this the right way and not out of anger or fix what you two have...because frankly Rylie I like you and Jared together..you gave me my brother back..and I think you need to go back home don't let the media ruin another relationship."

I rolled my eyes "I hate when you do that."

He nodded "Because you know I'm right."

I frowned "Damn you Leto...how can I be pissed at either of you when the other pleads your cases and yoire always fucking right."

Shannon nodded "I know...but this time it needed to be done..."

I punched his arm "Asshole."

He chuckled as he stood up "I know I'll make sure no one is there."

I nodded "Okay."

Shannon leaned down kissing my head "Love ya kid."

I shook my head "Sure you do...don't tell him okay I don't want him to have the chance to make a plan I want him to actually listen to what I have to say."

He nodded "Hey I'm on your side on this..I love my brother but this could of all been avoided."

I nodded "Thanks Shan."

Shannon nodded "No problem..go on I'll lock up for you."

I saved my work and got my stuff placing the key in his hand "Bring it to the house in the morning."

He nodded "Okay."

I nodded and left...when I got to Jared I stood outside the door..taking a deep breath I unlocked the door and walked in I sat my stuff in the regular spot slipping off my shoes..the house was quiet so I knew exactly where Jared was...I walked into the studio to see him sitting on the couch with his guitar "Jared."

Jared looked up "Rylie..."

I sighed deeply "We need to talk."

He sat his guitar down "Rylie I..."

I put a hand up "Just listen please."

Jared nodded "Okay."

I sighed "I do love you god I do...but I can't sit back while all these rumors and the media tearing our relationship apart and you not doing anything I love you Jared with all my goddamn heart and that fucking hurt like despite it all I don't mean enough to defend me..to defend us..I just I can't play second fiddle to all this I was perfectly okay being known as your girlfriend all I asked in return was a little in return..tell them want wankers they are...a little  acknowledgement"

He frowned "I'm sorry..goddamn it Rylie you are my fucking everything I know I fucked up I should have said something the minute it all started but I had hoped if I didn't respond it would go away..baby that wasn't my intention I swear it's killing me I hate knowing I've hurt you this bad that you haven't come home in 2 weeks..just tell me what I have to do"

I looked at him when I saw the look in his eyes I felt my heart shatter he looked utterly heartbroken "J.."

Jared sighed "I haven't done right by you and I know that and I'm willing to do whatever I need to do to fix us...I never realized how much I needed you until you weren't there...I can't sleep without you beside me...I can't think...I need you Rylie."

I found myself sitting on the table in front of him "Jared."

His eyes met mine "I'm so sorry baby just please forgive me."

I felt myself cave..I gently cupped his cheek "No more hiding no more ignoring this stuff...I plan to speak out you need to too."

Jared nodded "Will you come home please?"

I nodded "I am home."

He let his forehead rest against mine "I love you."

I sighed softly "I love you too asshole."

Jared chuckled softly "Rylie."

I smiled softly moving beside me "Play for me."

He smiled softly picking up his guitar "Any requests?"

I shook my head "Just play."

Jared nodded "Okay."

I laid my head on his shoulder watching him we had a while to go but I needed him as much as he needed me and I loved this man with all my heart
