The One(Jared Leto-Part 3)

*Brielle's pov*

I couldn't be happier with how life was going Jared and I were looking for a new house...Jared was even cast in a movie playing a trans woman living with Aids...I was quite proud of him to watch him do this film..during all this he gave me a promise ring which I found to be quite cute and sweet and I wore it proudly...now the guys were on tour again to promote their new album Love, Lust, Faith, and Dreams...tonight they were filming the video for City of Angels and I agreed to help...I was setting up my camera when an arm wrapped around my shoulder "Hey.."

Shannon smiled "Hey.."

I nudged him "Kinda digging this new look."

He grinned "Does that mean I can finally steal you from my little brother."

I laughed softly "Sorry Shan."

Shannon chuckled "So this ring does this mean marriage?"

I shrugged "A promise to each other I suppose but who knows...I'm not against it."

He smiled "I know I've said this before but I am glad he has you..you make him stop and remember he is human...you keep us from killing him."

I smiled "I try...now stand over there so I can check the focus please.."

Shannon walked away then stopped "Here?"

I nodded taking the picture "Perfect."

He smiled "All good?"

I nodded "Yeah."

Jared walked up "What you two up to?"

I smiled "Shannon was helping me get my camera set up.."

He kissed my cheek "I want to interview you...you're a Cali girl born and raised.."

I raised an eyebrow "I didn't move to LA till my mom took off I was 14 my dad thought living with my aunt during high school was best...I grew up in Malibu in the suburbs."

Jared nodded "This is where you discovered who you are, where you found your passion, where we met...where we are building our future."

I smiled softly "Not this time...I did the Hurricane video but this time I'm staying behind the camera."

He smiled "Okay.."

I pulled him down by his jacket "I love you."

Jared smiled "I love you too."

I smiled "You better.."

He leaned down pressing a kiss to my lips "Without a doubt."

I smiled "Alright we got a long night ahead of us lets get this started."

Jared nodded.."Yeah."

We had managed to get the entire performance and we had managed to get Shannon and Tomo's parts done...now we were working on Jared then all that was left was the interviews and a few minor shots Jared wanted...I sighed changing my battery "Tell me why I agreed to this?"

Shannon laughed "None of us can tell Jared no."

I smiled "Oh I can tell him no I'm just wondering how I came to abgree to this...I'm not built for this."

He laughed "No you're not our poor little munchkin."

I smiled softly as he pressed a brotherly kiss to my head "Yeah."

Jared narrowed his eyes with a smile "Hands off she's mine!"

Shannon laughed "No worries little brother I hear she prefers the actor/musician type."

I smacked his side "You ass.."

He laughed as he walked off

Jared walked up cupping my cheek "I know this is taking a while I'm trying to get as much of this done tonight as possible."

I nodded "Its okay.."

He leaned down pressing a light kiss to my lips "Let Emma take you home."

I shook my head "I'm fine.."

Jared smiled faintly "Hang tight baby."

I nodded as he walked off...a couple hours later we were done for now and headed home...I changed for bed and found Jared sitting at his computer "Baby come to bed."

He sighed "Soon.."

I sighed "Jared...editing can wait we've been at this all night get some sleep do this with fresh eyes..."

Jared sighed "This song means everything to me Brie."

I let my fingers run through his hair "I know love...but you need sleep."

He leaned forward his head in his hands "Baby."

I nodded "Let's make a deal I at least want you to get 5 hours of sleep then I will personally help you edit and do the interviews."

Jared looked at me "I thought this wasn't your thing?"

I shrugged "I'm volunteering here babe.."

He nodded as he saved what he had done "Okay let's go to bed my love."

I held my hand out as he stood up when he took my hand I lead him upstairs..once we were in bed Jared laid with his head on my chest his arm draped across my stomach...I smiled softly as he fell asleep...he truly was the love of my life no matter how often he drove me nuts
