"Oh, you mean those cats." Linh and Tam

Tam opened his eyes, rolled out of bed, and opened his door. He walked right into Linh.

"Good morning! How are you? No need to come out of your room."

"Linh?"

"Yes?" she asked cheerfully, still blocking his path.

"What did you do?"

"Nothing!" She casually leaned against the doorframe, taking up the entire doorway with her small body.

Tam raised his eyebrow. "Linh," he began.

"I think you should have breakfast in your room today," she interrupted, shoving him back into his room. "I'll go get it. You should stay here."

She turned to go. Tam followed her.

"No, it's okay; I've got it. You can stay here!" She slammed the door shut behind her.

Suspicious, Tam followed his twin sister down the stairs into their kitchen. "Linh!" he exclaimed.

"What?"

"Why are there so many cats?"

"Cats? What cats?" she asked, nudging a wandering cat behind her with her foot. He looked at her pointedly.

"Oh, you mean those cats. Well, you see, while you were sleeping, I—"

"Adopted four cats?"

"There's actually a fifth one around here somewhere."

Tam sat down at the table, putting his head in his hands. A little tongue licked his forehead.

"There he is! I was looking for him all morning!"
