@mclaugh__lin03 and @Quickstream both requested a Sokeefe, so I decided to do a two part one. I might do a part three, but it depends on how I end the second part and if you guys like it. Anyway, enjoy! As always, feel free to comment or PM me requests! :)

Also this has Nightfall spoilers!!!!!!

"I don't know what to do!" Sophie exclaimed, anxiously wrapping strands of hair around her fingers.

Although she had already healed Prentice, he wasn't fully recovered, and he wasn't making any progress. The Black Swan has suggested she try to speed up the recovery process, but Sophie had already tried twice to no avail. She was sure she was doing something wrong, so she was trying to come up with a better plan before she saw Prentice again.

"Relax, Foster. We'll figure it out."

"But what if we don't?" Sophie's voice died off at the end, and she let out a hiccuping sob.

"Hey, hey." Keefe reached out, and Sophie leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. "It's gonna be okay."

Sophie just sniffled. She spent so much time trying to be strong, and it was nice to finally show her vulnerability without being judged.

"I know it's a lot of pressure," Keefe said, rubbing her back. Even though he had never comforted her like this, it felt perfectly natural. "But we'll figure this out."

"What if we don't? What if I fail?"

"Hey. You're not going to fail."

"But I was made to heal him. What if I can't?"

"Sophie," Keefe said, making her look up at him. He almost never called her by her first name. Only when he was really serious.

"You already played your part. It's up to him now. And you really think you were only made to heal him?"

Sophie sniffed, but didn't say anything.

"Sophie, you were made to help our world. God knows you've got your work cut out for you." His gaze softened. "But I know you can do it. You've already helped so much. You're . . . so amazing. I mean, you're so . . . kind. I don't even understand how one person can be so good."

Sophie blushed, hiding her face behind her hair. Keefe leaned in a little closer, pushing her hair back. Sophie's breath caught in her throat.

Just then, Sandor burst through the door. Just like her parents, he had a sixth sense. He could sense the worst times to interrupt her.

The two teenagers quickly separated. "Hey, Gigantor."

Sandor glared at Keefe.

"Aww I missed you too," Keefe joked, grinning.

"I think it's time for you to go."

"Sandor!" Sophie complained.

"It's fine, Foster," Keefe said, a little stiffly. "I'll see you later."

After he leaped away, Sandor said, "Your parents will be hearing of this."

Sophie groaned.
