"I'm scared." Tiana

I want to start updating oneshots more, so I'll be updating these on Mondays and Fridays, as well as Rings on Wednesdays, like before.

"Biana!"

She glanced behind her to see who it was, her eyes widening as she realized it was Tam and, panicking, she tried to run away. Tam stuck out his arm, grabbing her wrist. He pulled her, gently but firmly, back into him.

"Biana, can I talk to you?"

She nodded, following him into a guest bedroom at Everglen.

"Look, Biana, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to kiss you– I mean I meant to kiss you, but I didn't mean to hurt you–"

She put her hand on his arm to stop him from rambling.

"Look, Tam, it's just– I'm scared."

Her voice got small and choked on the last word. Tam's throat went dry and he wrapped his arms around her. "Scared of what?"

Biana stayed silent for so long Tam thought she would never respond. Finally, she said, "I think I'm in love with you. And I'm scared. I'm scared of losing you, I'm scared of messing it up. I'm scared because I've never felt so strongly about anyone before. I..." A lone tear slipped down her cheek.

After another long moment of silence, Tam wordlessly pressed his lips against hers for the second time that night.
