"You know you do have to tell me eventually." Sophitz

"Okay, my turn!"

Fitz and Sophie were doing their Cognate training. Recently, they'd been doing it under Calla's Panakes tree. The blue, pink, and purple blossoms calmed Sophie and helped her focus.

"What's your biggest secret?" He flashed a sideways grin.

Sophie internally groaned. Since they were training to be Cognates, they had to share all their secrets. Even the ones that she would tell everyone before she would tell him...

Fitz must've seen her nervous expression. "Look, Sophie. You don't have to tell me now, but you know you do have to tell me eventually if this is gonna work."

"I know."

When she didn't say anymore than that, he leaned in slightly closer. She glanced up at him. She could've sworn his eyes flitted to her lips before looking back into her eyes.

Out of the corner of her eye, Sophie saw Biana. She quickly pulled back from Fitz, but not before Biana's eyes widened. "Biana, if you tell anyone I'll kill you!" Fitz called after her.

When Sophie and Fitz arrived back in the house, they found Sandor, Grizel, Grady, Edaline, Alden, Della, and Bronte, of all people, waiting for them. (A/N I couldn't find a way to make them all walk in on them without it being ridiculous, so I did it like this.) Biana was standing in the corner, looking guilty. Grady glared at Fitz, while Edaline had that goofy look on her face. Sophie groaned.
