"Do you want to be a Vacker?" Sophitz

BeckyEM4 requested a Sophitz oneshot, so here you go! I hope you enjoy! As always, feel free to comment or PM me requests!

Sophie burst out laughing. Fitz was telling her how, since the two of them had started dating, he'd been getting death threats from girls he used to go to school with.

"Would you want to be a Vacker?" he asked, jokingly.

"No, I wouldn't like the attention."

"Oh. Okay." He got up and walked away from Calla's tree, where they had been sitting and talking.

Suddenly it dawned on Sophie. "Wait. Wait. What? Fitz. Fitz! Did you just—"

She chased after him, grabbing his arm before he had a chance to leap away. He turned around, looking a little hurt, but started to smile when he saw that she had realized what he meant.

"Fitz, did you just . . ." She trailed off, unsure.

"Yes, Sophie." He slipped his arm around her waist. "Do you want to be a Vacker?" he repeated.

She nodded. "Yes."

He kissed her, gently at first, but gradually getting more passionate. He tightened his grip on her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck. When they finally pulled away, breathless, Fitz reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. Inside was a ring with a gold band, encrusted with diamonds and teal gemstones.

"Sophie." He looked into her eyes, his lips twitching with a smile. He asked one more time to make it official. "Will you marry me?"

"Yes!"
