Okay, here's part two! Enjoy! :)

The next day Keefe came over after school. Sandor had decided to show mercy and hadn't told her parents about how he caught them yet. Sophie was still scared Grady would burst through her door any minute.

"Hey, so, um, Foster—"

He got cut off by the door swinging open. It turned out Sophie had been right, and Grady had come bursting through her door.

Seething, he glared at Keefe. "Sophie, how many times have a told you to stay away from That Boy?"

Edaline came through the door at that moment, trying to calm down her husband. "Grady, she's allowed to like boys."

"Who said I liked any boys?" Sophie jumped in, mortified.

Edaline ignored her, placing her hand on Grady's arm. "Keefe isn't like Brant. I know you're scared that someone is going to hurt our daughter, but no one is going to hurt her like Brant hurt Jolie."

"Yeah. I would never hurt Foster — Sophie. Ever."

Grady, seeming to have calmed down, slowly nodded, before leaving with Edaline. He shot Keefe one last death-glare before he left.

Sandor, a smug grin on his face, said, "I'll just be outside here if you need anything," before closing the door.

After standing in awkward silence for a few moments, Keefe said, "Just so you know, I meant every word of what I said. I would never hurt you, Sophie."

She felt her cheeks flush fiery hot as he took a step closer to her. He cradled her face in his hand, his thumb rubbing her cheek. Without meaning to, she tilted her head up. He slipped his other hand around her waist, pulling her into him. She wrapped her arms around his neck, just as he pressed his lips against hers, softly parting them.

After a few seconds they pulled apart, and Sophie slipped her hands down from his neck to his chest, fidgeting with a button on his shirt. He put both hands around her waist, gently pressing against the small of her back.

"So, Keefe, I, um." She laughed nervously. "I, um, kind of, um, really like you?"

"I like you too," he said, seeming slightly relieved.

"Really?"

"Yeah. Thats kind of why I kissed you."

"Oh. Yeah."

Keefe grinned, kissing her cheek lightly before stepping away from her and leaping away. Sophie sat on her bed, not sure what to do without his body next to hers.
