AN: Haha I feel like being evil. Here is another excerpt.
Edward's POV
"Aaron, if you want my ship, you'll have to challenge me to a duel."I said.
"Then I will."Aaron replied. I heard both of crews suck in their breath as they circled around the two of us.
"Edward, no!"Zillah cried, running to my side.
"Zillah please, I'll be fine."I promised, even though I didn't know.
Aaron and I were both excellent swordsmen. The only difference between us was that I was younger, and I had God on my side.
"Yes darling, run back and hide."Aaron sneered, taking a threatening step towards her. Zillah cringed away.
"Leave her alone."I said, forcing my hand to stay still. Never make the first move.
"Or what Edward? What are you going to do about it?"Aaron asked.
"Absolutely nothing."I replied, hoping it would anger Aaron. It did.
He charged towards me, his sword pointed out in front of me. I heard Zillah gasp, but merely stepped to my left and watch Aaron sail by me. He turned around, but didn't advance. Instead he started to circle around me. I turned to keep him in my sight, and in the process saw Zillah standing with one hand to her bulging stomach, and the other holding Rebeka close. In the moment I was distracted Aaron had charged me, and I felt his sword slice across my left arm, luckily not the one holding my sword. My instinct kicked in and I swung out with my sword, slicing Aaron's sword arm. This only angered him, and he charged after me with a renewed fervor.
"Edward!"I heard Zillah cry.
Aaron resumed his circling before he darted in for another shot. I easily blocked it, and was able to take a shot at him. With that we circled closer and the fight heated up. I couldn't take my eyes off him because he was so close, and fear that the murder in his eyes would transfer to his hand. Aaron tried to strike me, but I easily parried his blow. I don't know how long we fought, but I knew that I was getting tired, and so was Aaron. His attacks became desperate, but my blocks weren't as strong. I could see the look of horror on Zillah's face, and the enjoyment on the faces of the crew. Except for Johnny. His face was frozen in fear. I thought it was for the fight, but I was wrong. I looked over to Aaron just as he shoved his sword through me.
