You: she works at the hospital, right?
Alex: yeah. She does night shift a lot, so I don't really see her often. And it's not exactly like I have an open relationship with my dad

You: I know that, I wasn't taking the blame for it, I guess I was just acknowledging that it's a bad situation to be in
Alex: what about you? What's your family like?
You: well, I'm an only child. my parents got divorced when I was real little, so it's all I've ever known. It doesn't really matter to me. Double the Christmas presents 🎁🌲🎅🏻🎉
