Alex: You are the only thing keeping me here. Keeping me alive. And I mean that quite literally.
You: Wait what do you mean by that?
Alex took in a deep breath, pulling his knees up against his chest. He held his phone in one hand and watched it glowing in the dark, knowing that he couldn't leave her hanging forever, but also unsure if he had the courage to continue to type out the message that might drastically change his life.
When they had fought before, Alex still hadn't known quite how much she would mean to him. They were sort of like a test, to see if the two of them would withstand the time, and now that they had, he wouldn't know what h would do without her daily messages, even if they were only to bully him.
As much as he had tried to fight it, Alex had developed feelings for Lyric. The love that he felt for her, however, he lacked for himself. His head pounded as he drew his phone closer, and he began to type.
