"So... why are we here?" Pit asked Palutena as they walked down a thin row of shelves, they were covered with colourful bottles. "We need a very special potion," she explained, stopping to examine a long bottle with strange yellow liquid in it. "But last time you used a potion-" Pit complained, being interrupted, "That was an accident! Ahem, besides, this is nothing like that." She handed the bottle to Pit, who examined it wearily. "Speed Enhancer? What do we need that for?" He asked. "Well, the power of flight only lasts five minutes so... I thought we could do with an angel speed boost." "N-no way! I'm not your guinea pig Lady Palutena..." Pit stuttered, now wanting to get out of the cramped room even more. Palutena began to reply, when she was interrupted by an angry voice shouting from the end of the room.
"There you are! I can't believe you-" Dark Pit spat, walking briskly towards them. "Woah, Pittoo! What's wrong?" Pit asked. "I told you not to call me that- and what do you mean 'What's wrong?', you went into my room again!" He was fuming, grabbing Pit by the collar. "Dark Pit!" Palutena shouted, but the dark angel ignored her. "I d-didn't, I swear!" Pit lied, he had took a peek earlier but he didn't feel like confessing that right now. "You're a terrible liar. If you sneak in again I'll-" He slammed his hand on the nearby shelf as he spoke, causing it to wobble. "It's gonna fall!" Palutena screamed as the shelf tumbled towards them. Dark Pit jumped back, landing hard on the floor beside it. Pit stumbled to get away but before he could get his bearings, a sea of bottles came crashing down, drenching the angel in a variety of potions.
"Ow..." Dark Pit moaned as he rubbed his sore rump, "Uh... Pit?" There was no response. "Pit!" Palutena exclaimed, using her staff to lift the shelf. It had fallen against the other shelf, leaving a small gap. Pit was lying under it, unconscious. "No... I didn't mean to-" Pittoo covered his mouth, realising he was speaking out loud. "He's OK. We need to get him out of here, immediately. Oh, and don't touch that stuff!" Palutena said firmly, using her power to teleport them to a hot spring.
They reappeared in the large hot spring. Palutena dropped Pit gently into it. "He should be OK, I think we washed it off fast enough," Palutena mumbled, dunking some of the water over him. Dark Pit stared, unable to react. He felt terrible for causing the shelf to fall. He snapped out it when Palutena addressed him, "Stay here. I am going to figure out what potions fell on him." She left in a flash of light. Dark Pit sighed and fell to the floor beside the hot spring. Pit was sitting in it, fully clothed. He was slumped over and snoring slightly. "If I hadn't let my temper get the better of me..." he mumbled, a yawn took him by surprise. "Why am I sleepy..." he said out loud. "Must have been one of those..." before he could finish, he was on the ground, fast asleep.
"Purr, Purr~"
Dark Pit woke up slowly, holding his head as he rose. "What was in that- GAHH!" The dark angel screamed looking at the sight before him. "Mew, You're awake! Now we can play~" Pit cooed as he pulled on Dark Pit's leg. "What the actual HELL is going on?!" Pittoo exclaimed. Pit was awake, but he now had a large tail and pointed cat ears on top of his head. Palutena entered when she heard the commotion, "Did he wake up- AHH!" "Lady Palutena~ I missed you!" Pit had jumped up and latched onto the goddesses dress. "This is very bad..." Palutena breathed, looking down at Pit. "Why do you have potion to turn people into cats?!" Dark Pit asked. "Oh, that's a long story... there was a party and-" "Oh forget it! What do we do? There has to be a way to reverse it!" Dark Pit exclaimed, hopeful this was temporary. "There is but..." Palutena turned to face him, "that may be a problem."Dark Pit was left in charge of keeping an eye on Pit until Lady Palutena came back with a cure. "I can't believe this. Stupid Pit, this wouldn't have happened if you had just stayed out of my room," he thought. Pit was pulling on his leg again, "Come play! It's boring in here, meow." "Stop that! I told you stay over there," Pittoo shouted, pointing to another chair in the hot spring. The light angel pouted and looked up at him, "It's boring over there. I want to play! Meow." Dark Pit sighed and rubbed his temple. "I didn't know it was possible for you get even more annoying," he mumbled. Pit jumped up and and hugged him. "Hehe, Pittoo is so grumpy~" he purred. "G-get off!" Dark Pit protested. The light angel pressed his head against his chest and purred. "P-pit..." Pittoo whispered. "Why do you hide it?" Pit asked. "Huh?" "You're feelings, you always hide them. You like me don't you~" he cooed. "Wha-" Pit laughed at him, looking into his eyes, "Meow, You're so silly." Dark Pit was taken back, he looked away. "No." "But-" "I want to confess to the real you." He cupped the light angel's face, kissing him gently.
Pit woke up slowly, rubbing his eyes. His head was pounding, "Ugh, that really did a number on me." He looked over at Dark Pit who had fallen asleep beside him. He smiled and lay beside him. "I've been waiting so long to hear you confess," he paused, curling up to him, "I guess I can wait another few minutes."
