Pit fell off the bed with a thud. His face was bright red and he could barely speak, a small wheeze was all he could muster. Dark Pit looked down at him, seemingly unaffected, "I thought you we're a virgin, but I didn't think it was *this* bad." "Y-You can't d-do that!" Pit shouted, standing up suddenly and backing away. The black haired boy sighed and leaned on his hand. "Stop being so dramatic. Sorry I surprised you, I guess I misread," he trailed off, sounding a little disappointed. Pit took a deep breath and composed himself.

"It's not that...um-"
"It's because we look alike."
Pit looked down, thinking of how to respond. His head was full of conflicting thoughts. "I can't stop thinking about you, but why? Is it because of that? I don't think so, that's not it at all," Pit thought to himself. He looked up to see Dark Pit staring back at him, there was something different about his gaze. It was less intense, as if he was waiting for him to say something.
"I-I...I overreacted. Sorry," Pit sat back down beside him, "I don't think it matters anymore."
"Hm?"
"That we look alike."
"Why the change of heart?"
Pit squeezed his hands shut and stared at the floor.

"There's something about you, something I can't describe. I thought it was that at first, but that's not it."
"You seemed pretty obsessed with it."
"Because I was in denial."
Dark Pit went quiet.
"I think...I've been trying to hide my feelings behind it. So, long story short, you didn't misread."
An agonising silence circled around the room. Pit was afraid to look at him. "Now I've done it. He probably wants nothing to do with me, he just likes messing with my head," he thought, tears welling in his eyes. "Pit."

Pit looked up, he was greeted by a hug. His face flushed red and he froze. "Why are you so fucking stupid?" Dark Pit asked with sigh. Pit smiled and let out an ugly laugh, but he didn't care. He was overwhelmed with relief, "S-sorry." Dark Pit let go and moved away again, hiding a small blush.
"Not that I can blame you, it's not surprising you're into this," he said with forced smug grin, motioning to himself. Pit covered his mouth to hold back the snickering. "Talk about over confident," he teased, poking Dark Pit's cheek. He cleared his throat and crossed his arms. Pit smiled warmly and leaned up against him, "Round two?" Dark Pit smirked and picked up the controller, "Your funeral, blue eyes."

The grandfather clock in the hall sounded a ding as the hour hit ten. Pit's eyes opened suddenly, an unfamiliar smell hit him. His face was pressed up against a black hoodie. His face flushed red when he realised what he was doing. "Oh, you're awake," Dark Pit said suddenly. Pit sat up quickly, "S-sorry." Dark Pit gave a genuine smile and shook his head, "You just fell asleep, don't worry about it."
"What time is it?"
"Don't know, haven't checked my phone since I got here. Your Mom is cool."
"H-Huh?! She came in when I was-"
Dark Pit laughed and sat up, stretching and yawning as he did. "I guess you don't have to tell her now-"
"I'm so embarrassed!" Pit whined, covering his face with his hands. "Stop being such a baby," Dark Pit teased, grabbing his hands and looking into his eyes. Pit froze and stared back, hypnotised by his gaze. "So...what now?"
"Huh? Oh..."

Pit looked at his phone. He had a lot of notifications, but the time jumped out at him first. "It's five past ten!" Pit exclaimed, "How long was I asleep?" Dark Pit chuckled, "Three, maybe four hours." Pit looked at him, astonished. "You- you let me sleep on you for that long?"
Dark Pit blushed and coughed awkwardly, "Well you had me in a death grip, not like I had a choice-" Pit reached over a gave him a kiss on the cheek, pushing down the nerves he felt. Dark Pit held his cheek, his face bright red. "That was sweet of you...Dark Pit." They both smiled. "I missed the bus... um-"
Pit lay down beside him and motioned him to follow, "We can drop you home in the morning." Dark Pit rolled his eyes and lay down on his side, "You're suddenly alright with this." Pit sighed happily and looked at him, "What's there to worry about?"
Dark Pit held him gently, and after a moment of silence;
"Hey Pit?"
"Hmm?"
"Why the hell do you look like me?"
