Pit tried to keep from fidgeting as he grew increasingly uncomfortable. Phosphora and Viridi we're talking about something he couldn't follow, and Dark Pit was still not back yet. He could barely enjoy the delicious breakfast Viridi had prepared for them. "What is he thinking? Why would he just take off like that?" He thought, taking another bite of his toast and staring off in the distance. "And what about this strange feeling I can't shake?" A faint ring caught his attention, he recognised it instantly. "E-excuse me for a minute, I think that's mine," he excused himself politely and dashed up stairs. He fumbled with the contents of his bag until he found the source of the sound. He answered it immediately, not looking at the caller ID.

"Hello!" "Good morning, mister no call." "Oh...Hi, Mom," he said, leaning against the side of the bed. "No need to sound so disappointed," she said laughing, "How's things? I was worried when you didn't reply." Pit felt bad for forgetting, he always did. "Ah- I forgot again. I'm fine though, you don't have to worry," he was lying a little bit, he was hoping the call would be from Dark Pit. He was probably more worried than she was. "Well that's a relief. Do you want me to pick you up?" "No, I'll take the walk. I'll leave as soon as Dark Pit comes- uh, as soon as he's finished in the shower," he said with nervous laugh. "OK...see you then!" And with a beep, she was gone. Pit sighed and checked his messages. Two from his Mom and over ten others. "Geez, I hope Magnus wasn't looking for me-" he paused when he saw the first one. It was from an unknown sender, but the word 'Pitty' gave it away;
'Hey Pitty! Guess who found your number? (It was me :D) Can we meet up today? Like old times!'

Pit felt lightheaded as he kept reading the mountain of texts;
'Just us.'
'Like that guy who was really like grumpy might want to come but just us sounds better!'
'Are you still friends with Magnus? He's cool, let's bring him too!'
'Do you like chicken? I know a good place for that.'
'Send me a message as soon as you see these ahah.'
':)'
"This isn't going away, is it?" Pit groaned and put his head in his hands. There was no way to say no to this guy, and ignoring never worked. A sudden noise downstairs snapped Pit out of his funk. He ran over to the banister and watched Dark Pit open the door suddenly.

"Dark Pit!" He called happily, almost falling over as he ran to greet him. He was breathing heavily, carrying a shopping bag in one hand. He doubled over, struggling to catch his breath. "Are you OK?!" Pit asked, grabbing his shoulders. "Yeah...sorry. I'm so sorry that I left you alone. I-" he coughed and straightened up suddenly, "Ran all the way here." He held out the bag, expecting Pit to take it. Pit hesitated, more concerned about him than the bag. He took it and peered inside. "Dark Pit-" "You were talking about how much you wanted that game, and chocolate pancakes are your favourite right? I was going to surprise you when you woke up but- damn I'm sorry..." he wiped his brow and sighed. Pit felt tears well up, the stress and worry all melted away with them. "T-that's so sweet. Thank you," Pit said, jumping into his arms and letting the tears flow, "T-thank you so much." Dark Pit was shocked at his reaction, smiling and holding him close. "I'm glad you like it..."

The pair sat in Dark Pit's room after he apologised for missing breakfast. Pit munched on one of the chocolate pancakes happily, feeling much better with Dark Pit around. "Why were you in such a hurry?" Pit asked with his mouth full. "Huh?" "Well you said you ran all the way here, just wondering why..." he said honestly. "O-oh, I just got held up in the queue. I feel bad for leaving you alone like that," Dark Pit sighed and stole one of the pancakes. Pit pouted and held the rest closer. "You didn't have to run...or steal my pancakes." "*I* bought them." They both laughed in unison. "We should really get you home, before your phone explodes," Dark Pit stated, eyeing Pit's phone. Pit picked it up and gulped silently. Pyrrhon had been texting him the entire time. "Y-yeah, Mom must be lonely without me," Pit lied, hoping Dark Pit wouldn't figure out about this. He really didn't want to involve him in this mess. Dark Pit stretched and stood up, lending a hand to Pit. He took it reluctantly, groaning and yawning as he was pulled up. "You would think you would be well rested..." Dark Pit commented under his breath.

Pit took a deep breath to clear his head as they walked. He was trying to stay calm, but the low buzz of the phone kept reminding him. "He's so hard to ignore..." "Hey." "Hmm?" Pit turned to look at Dark Pit, he was studying his face closely. "What's up with you?" He asked, moving closer and taking his hand. "Oh, I'm fine! Just tired," Pit smiled quickly, turning away and looking forward. "You said that yesterday, but you're not. You're not you at all." "W-what?" "Nothing..." There was a painful silence for a few minutes as they made the last stretch towards Pit's house. "Thanks for walking me home," Pit leaned over and gave him a kiss. "Do you want to do something tomorrow?" Dark Pit asked suddenly. "Oh...I have to work on my assignments. How about Monday?" Dark Pit stuffed his hands in his pockets and nodded. Pit was confused by his reaction. He began walking off suddenly. "Well....see you then," Pit called after him, expecting a reaction, but all he got was silence.
