Pit hugged his pokéball plush as he used his phone.
"So he's going to yours?" Gaol asked. "Yeah, at four. I still can't believe he said yes," Pit admitted, laughing sheepishly.
"He sounds like an ass."
"Magnus!"
"I'm just telling it how it is. I don't want my best bud to get his heart broken by some-"
"Magnus, you haven't even met him yet. And I told you, it's not a date!"
Gaol and Magnus gave him a silent 'yeah right'. Pit pouted and lay on his side. "I need to get ready, you two can think what you want," he mumbled. "Good luck~" Gaol cooed, hanging up on the call. Pit heard Magnus sigh. "Call me for back up if he tries to pull anything."
"See you later, Magnus!" Pit said happily, hanging up on him.Pit changed into some causal clothes and tidied his bed. He was a little excited to see Dark Pit again. There was something oddly intriguing about him. He had a hundred more questions. "I wonder if he plays video games too, he does work at a game store," he thought to himself as he stacked his multi-player games on his desk. "Oh!" He picked up the Mario Kart game he had bought at that very game store. "I almost forgot about you," he said, adding it to the top of the pile. "PIT! THE DOOR!"
Pit ran down the stairs and grabbed the door handle, suddenly feeling hesitation. "Deep breath, it's only a guy...that looks like me," he thought, sighing. He swung the door open, revealing Dark Pit. He was wearing clothes almost identical to the ones he had on before. "Hey," he said simply. "Hi, come on in," Pit stepped aside and smiled. Dark Pit walked by him, the same uninterested expression on his face. Pit closed the door and turned to face him, "Um...Want to go upstairs?" Dark Pit just shrugged. Pit took it as a yes and started walking up the stairs.
"Welcome to my room!" Pit exclaimed, holding his arms out in the doorway. Dark Pit looked in, "It's smaller than I thought." Pit laughed awkwardly, not sure how to respond. He walked into the room and motioned his guest in. Dark Pit shuffled in behind him and sat on the end of the bed, taking out his phone. "Um-"
"What?"
"Don't you want to do something?"
"Geez, you're forward. I didn't know I was that irresistible," Dark Pit said smugly, putting down his phone. Pit's face flushed red and he sat down quickly, "T-that's not what I meant!" He pointed to his collection of video games. Dark Pit eyed them for a second, noticing Mario Kart and smirking. "Heh, OK. But you have no idea what you're getting into.""How did you win again?!" Pit shouted as he finished the race in second place. Dark Pit chuckled and crossed his arms, "I'm amazing at this game." Pit huffed and put his controller down, "I didn't think you'd be so into this kinda thing." "You're a baby, and a sore loser," Dark Pit noted, stretching and resting his arms behind his head. The room went quiet, the pair both listened to the faint sound of the game in the background. Pit wasn't sure what to say, he was enjoying his company, but the more time he spent with him, the more confusing all of this became. "Hey, you know how-" Pit turned his head to face him, but met his lips instead. "Hmm?!"
